More proof dread game works every time

This commercial made me laugh out loud. Check it out:

Dread game works, gents. Every. Single. Time. As soon as she thinks another chick (or phone in this case) is on your radar she'll pull out all the stops to keep you from straying.

A good friend of mine is a marketing professional and he consistently states that in order for ads to be effective they must contain an element of truth. Anyone who doubts the effectiveness of dread game should take heed the message this ad is putting out.

Shit, the phone did everything but give the guy a blowjob in the car...trust me when I tell you if it could have, it would have.

Haha that is a devilish little commercial, bravo.

One pet peeve of mine though: ads nowadays almost ALWAYS feature SWPL, feeble men like this, especially if they are white. This man was not depicted in a weak manner, but his mannerisms and comportment is weak. This is among the principal reasons I can't stand television - everyone is such a mincing weakling. Not that I'm a walking hurricane, but still...

I do know that ad agencies are full of slutty hipster chicks and weak hipster dudes. Any man with a pair should have no problem slaying pussy in that scene.

Then why are misandric ads so prevalent?

Those ads your friend cites certainly do exist, but they are far from the only ones. Plenty others merely play on the egos or insecurities of their audience.

As much as I would like to believe that the marketing team and higher-ups at Apple and similar companies are savvy cabals that release elements of "Red Pill" to the "Blue Pill" masses in careful, measured doses when it suits them, playing the naivete of the masses like a fiddle to their own pecuniary benefit...

My past interaction with marketing personnel and "higher-ups" at corporations leaves me inclined to believe that any substantial hints of "Red Pill"-ness is more the product of accident than intention.

They work by catering to the hamster who loves to spend money on consumer crap.

"ha ha silly man now I feel good and want to shop"

How can we turn this to our advantage? It somehow reminds me of the all-purpose neg "you should read more".

"You should spend your money more carefully"?

TV follows culture, not the other way around. Look at the demographics that watch television.

It seems that women as a whole watch 16 more hours of television than men. No wonder we see so much misandry on television.
