Is it really hypocrisy, though? Reacting differently to domestic violence depending on the sex of the victim seems entirely principled and unhypocritical if you endorse a principle like "women's lives are of value and men's are not," which Jezebel clearly implicitly does. Hypocrisy would be if they then made the further claim that they place equal value on the well-being of both women and men. As it stands their attitude is one of bigotry, not hypocrisy.
