I told myself I'd stop looking at their site, but this screed against betas pissed me off. It's got almost all the classic feminist points despite being written by a hypothetical man, including a snarky request for the targets of the author's ire to commit suicide somehow and framing male sexual desire as inherently hostile or predatory. He doesn't even mention the fact that the main reason betas try to sneak into a relationship via friendship is due to shyness or fear of rejection. Oh no, that might cause the reader to sympathize with the antagonist...

I mentioned this in the "Online Hamster" thread for the same reason.

As I've said, I think we should teach boys to become more assertive. I have little empathy for men who let themselves be used by women. Even so, I do have some empathy for a guy (especially if he is young) who has trouble connecting with women due to shyness or fear of rejection. After all, women will say that they think being shy is 'cute', even though being shy is a very bad characteristic of any guy who wants to ever get laid.

While I'm not shy nor do I fear rejection, I am a natural introvert, so usually it takes a bit of initiative to make myself assertive. This just took a little bit of practice and experience.

I also like the dig at men who like "big breasted blondes who haven't read a book". There is always the passive-aggressive dig at men who value fit women. As natural as it is for a woman to be attracted to an assertive man, it's natural for a man to be attracted to a physically attractive woman, not a fat whale.

On that note, imagine if there was a "three reasons why fit men don't date fat women". There would be an uproar. They (feminists like Gawker, Jezebel) will ruthlessly mock "nice guys". Fine, again I think it is important to teach young men to take the good with the bad, and to be assertive. But to even say "I'm not attracted to overweight women" is sacrilegious. And even I'm empathetic to the fat woman who can't meet a guy even though she's willing to date fat guys. But those women never complain. It's only the fat whales who want to date fit guys who complain nonstop.

It is further proof that young men who do not conform to feminism or show assertive qualities are to be ignored. But all women are perfect and need constant validation and no criticism, constructive or otherwise. Unless they are a big breasted blonde, then she must be stupid and guys who like her are the worst.

Cracked has been added to my blocked websites list, along with all of the websites owned by Gawker Media. By going to these clickbait sites we're funding their nonsense through pageviews. I think if more likeminded men took proactive action to make sure they didn't accidentally click on this shit, we could do damage to their bottom line and these companies may be forced into a policy change. Until then, clicking this shit is part of the problem.

Starve these fuckers.

EDIT: I think it'd be nice to set up a thread specifically for this idea, so that SJW websites could be blocked from a huge list by us without forum members having to put much work into it. I personally use the Block List addon for Firefox, and I think there may be a way to automatically import a list of sites to block. Not to derail...

My biggest issue with the article is the notion that the first guy is putting on a front. Everyone in the world knows that those guys are just too big of pussies to initiate or express intimacy. I would know because I was one of those pussies a decade ago. However, the article does make a point that you shouldn't be mad at the woman in that situation. It may be easy to cast blame, but aren't you the one that was the pussy that dried up the well in the first place?

Being mad at the woman depends on how she acts in response. Good girls go out of their way to distance from the guy and avoid leading him on. Bitches let guys do them favors and then pretend afterwards they had no idea the guy was in love with them.

Sure, from a Machiavellian standpoint it makes sense to let the sap take you out on a cruise or whatever and then refuse to put out since you can get a free cruise out of it. But you can't do that and then claim to be an ethical person.

Very good point, which makes the contempt for actual nice guys even worse.

As I said above, the worst quality for a guy to be is shy. I had a roommate in college who girls thought was cute, but he was too quiet. We'd go to a bar, and he'd stand in a corner. He eventually broke out of his shell and now I hear he is married, but the difference of course is a nice girl who is shy will still have plenty of guys trying to fuck her provided she's attractive.

I'd add that women ascribe characteristics to guys they already like. As I've mentioned, I have a guy friend my ex-gf's friend asked about, saying he seemed like a "really nice guy". He's a great friend, but he's not a "nice guy". Yet another example why to never listen to what a woman says she wants.

Going further, the stereotype that women care more about a man's personality (nice or otherwise) than vice versa is BS. Men care far more about personality in that we don't want someone who is a cunt. The only thing women care about is how you make them feel.
