The Profile Feedback Thread

Let's post our online profiles here and offer each other feedback. Post the text, photos, both... whatever. Include as much as possible for the best possible feedback. Tell us what site it's from too. This is very important since every site has a different vibe.

Commenters: be nice and offer constructive feedback. Be sure to include what you like about a profile as much as what you don't like. If you don't like something, suggest a way to improve it.

If your profile is already gold-plated, post it and show us how it's done!

I'll go first. This is my current OKC profile. I'm looking for women who are into open relationships. Also looking for long-term FWBs.

My self-summary
Hi! I'm looking for... um... hmmm... well, more love, intimacy and sex! But then, I guess that's why we're all here.

My favorite thing is meeting a woman, finding chemistry on the first date, and tending to the butterflies in my stomach. Too bad it happens so rarely. But when it does... ahhhhh.

By the way, I'm a software engineer for one of those huge internet companies. You've heard of them. And I love improv! Both performing it and watching it.

Oh, and I'm married. So my wife and young son will always be the most important people in my life. That said, love it not a finite resource, to be shared sparingly. You know what I'm talking about.

What I’m doing with my life
Improving it. Every day. But not in a Tony Robbins kind of way. More like a "let's try something new and see what happens" kind of way. It's a lot of fun! [Image: biggrin.gif]

For instance, yesterday I started taking ukelele lessons! Next week, underwater hang-gliding (ok, just kidding about that one).

Trying new things -- in and out of the bedroom -- is very important to me. I'm not the same person that I was last year, and I don't expect to be the same person next year. Constant reinvention is key, while staying true to my values: honesty, fearlessness and curiosity. Honesty and curiosity come naturally to me. Fearlessness, not so much.

Also, I'm having FUN with my life. In fact it's usually my number one priority! As a result I tend to not get along very well with serious people. Just sayin'.

I'm really good at
1. Diving in.
2. Not regretting it.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Most recent book (non-fiction): Sex at Dawn

Most recent book (fiction): Nine Stories, by J.D. Salinger

Most recent movie: Guardians of the Galaxy

Most recent concert: Dread Zeppelin

Most recent meal: Cheerios

The six things I could never do without
Love
Sex
Oxygen
Water
Sleep
Nutrients

In that order.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
...life's little mysteries, like why are there so many uptight people in the world? Or, who is actually watching all those reality TV shows? Sometimes I just think about how lucky I am. Other times, I'm obsessed with love, sex and perogies.

On a typical Friday night I am
At the drive-in with my wife and son, probably watching a movie he chose. He's three.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have two Britney Spears songs in my playlist.

I’m looking for
Girls who like guys
Ages 35–50
Near me
For new friends, long-term dating

You should message me if
If you are a FUN and independent woman looking for a friend and more.
If you like romance, friendship and sex equally.
If you regret the things you haven't done more than the things you've done.
If you find my profile hopelessly fascinating.

I thought about starting a thread like this too but it's hard to keep anonymous when you post searchable text...

I didn't think of that. But then again I don't care who finds me.

I just Googled some text from my profile and it didn't come up. But this thread did! [Image: biggrin.gif] I don't think Google crawls OKC. And OKC doesn't have an open-text search.

I think it would be best if people do decide to post in here to just post the written parts of their profile and not even say what site its from. Personally I don't think this is a great idea. Most people on this site wish to remain anonymous.

But guys, the fight itself isn't the focus here. How the whole thing was instigated by 1 girl is the big deal.

Either you are naive or are trying to get personal information out of members here. Which is it?

The first one. My bad. I didn't consider the privacy issue, or that anyone would even care.

I'll think twice before I post something like this again.
