Copper, no clubs are rally popping except for the end of the week. On the off nights, there are basically local watering holes, or those bars with a few chairs outside which mostly are in the barrios.
Also, those nights are perfect to call you girl(s) as many won't have any plans and will probably be open to a date.

Ok, what are the good spots Thursday, Fri, and Sat? Babylon still good on Thurs? how about Fahrenheit? I haven't been to Medellin in over 1.5 years.... Im going to be there with my buddy and 2 or 3 girls including my wife... so unfortunately I don't have to worry about night game (I wish I did lol)
My buddy is single though, I figure since he is semi-fluent in Spanish and the fact that we will have girls in our group (colombian) when we go out, he will have a better than average shot at some night game ...

Dantes and anyone else who hasn't been to Colombia in the past few months, you'll be in for a rude surprise when you come back here as the Colombian hotel industry has jacked up their prices to levels that are basically gouging. I first ran across this in January at an aparta suite place (Living 55) in Bogota that I've been staying at for the past three years and have recommended to several people on here. Since 2012, I paid 100K/night and also paid that rate during the first week of this year before I left the city for a week. Upon my return, they informed me that the price increased to 140K, I fucking lost it on them and they offered to lower the price to 120K, which wasn't too bad but I still ended up leaving. I saw the same thing going on at the hostels in Cali, my friend recently checked into a private room at one in Cali and he paid 35K, I stayed in the same room two years ago and paid 20K, so apparently this is happening all over. I mentioned this to a few guys down here including some old timers and they think that its in response to the strong USD which has gained around 40% against the peso in the past six months or so, great for the Yanks but not all of us are from the US, the Canadian dollar has remained about the same (1:1900) against the peso, but try explaining that to a Colombian! Anyway, I just thought I would mention this for anyone coming to Colombia, I don't know if they're doing the same thing in other countries but to me its very short sighted of the Colombian hotel industry and it will likely back fire when they see a drop in foreign visitors checking in.

The only things that I've noticed that have gone up are the hotel prices (gringo gouging) and imported stuff especially electronics, for example, a guy I know bought a TV a couple of months ago and when we went into the Exito where he bought it, he noticed that the price had gone up by 300.000 pesos. Day to day things like food, taxis, laundry, haircuts, etc have all remained the same from what I can tell.

As far as real estate goes, I met some retired American guys who have been living here for many years and they seem to think that the real estate market is going to correct soon and the economy is going to stagnate and maybe even crash. They believe that its because Colombia's main export is oil and as we all know, the price of oil has tanked and likely won't recover anytime soon. Also, the developers have been over building all over the country and the prices have gotten too high, basically, Colombia has been out performing all other South American countries over the past twelve years by riding the resource boom and it has to correct. That's what these old guys said, myself I'm not so sure as I'm not well informed on the Colombian economy, I"m just pissed off that the hotels have upped their prices because the USD has gone up, something that hasn't benefited me.

The fake tits fad at least here in medellin has slowed. Don't see many around w silicone. EAFIT uni is the poblado uni known for girls w silicone, but my local friend told me that before it was more common, now it slowed a bit. He went to uni of antioquia by metro estacion universidad,,, there are stunners there too.

Well, my 3 weeks in Medellin are coming to an end today. It’s been an interesting and worthwhile experience and man am I tired! Dating here can really feel like a full-time gig with all the attention the girls need and the constant flaking/tardiness/rescheduling.

For a Medellin newbie like me, I think 3 weeks is the minimum amount of time required in order to really get things going here. In my first week I got the grand total of 1 make-out, second week 1 lay and 1 make-out and third week 3 lays (excluding repeat bangs) and 1 make-out.

Girls I boned were 18, 19, 22 and 30 y/o, looks-wise between 6.5-8. 2 girls had fake boobies (YES!!). One from daygame in El Poblado, one from Tinder and two from Col/latamcupid. I banged the 30 y/o one on the first date, the others on the second or third date. The girls were from Laureles, Envigado, Bello and Manrique.

It was great meeting up with a bunch of RVF-ers, all cool guys: Scotian, Getdownonit, Floridamedellin and especially Tigre who took a lot of time to answer all my questions (“I’m going to x barrio to meet a girl – is it safe?” haha).

Also a shout out to all the guys that kindly provided intel via PM: Newgame, Nascimento, Linux and especially Dantes.

For those interested, I kept a record of all the dates:

By my third week I had developed a pretty good intuition for who would and wouldn’t flake so my irritation was kept to a minimum, well most of the time anyway haha.

I was staying in an airbnb place about a 10 minute walk to Centro Comercial Oviedo in El Poblado. First date normally took place in the McCafe next to Oviedo where there is wifi.

I checked out a bit of the nightlife, especially in Parque Lleras and Riosur; great for eye candy but not a very effective way of meeting girls IMO.

Blunt your safest bet is Medellin as far as I know. It's a very "rainy" place in general from what I understand. It rained at least once every day when I was there - but it was a "comfortable drizzle".

Yep, that's the classic Colombian flakey bullshit you were warned about. That's why you make plans/dates with 2-3 girls if you have to for the same night. 1 will fall through. I'm not 100% sure but I think it may be remnants of when Medellin/Colombia was a very dangerous place so girls/women are scared of meetups. That plus they have other guys/friends pipelined.

I was lucky. I was only there for 6 days and managed a bang (she was 9 - and while she had the smallest tits of any girl I've ever been with, ironically was also the best looking). Luck was definitely in my favour - my friend and I killed it, as it was a Tinder meet up through him but it was more of a "my friend is with me, let's meet up with your group" and then at the end of the night we took two girls back to our place.
