I'm cut. I am not really concerned about it. Nobody around me wasn't either because pretty much everyone gets cut, and I haven't heard of any circumcision accidents.

I got it done when I was 10. Kids in my country usually get it done age 7-8. It was done at a hospital by surgery professionals, the procedure was fine first half and hell second half because it turns out I tolerate anesthesia very well. It was the same kind of hell as when I had my tonsils out. Healing process as far as I remember it was fine. They prescribe you some creams and stuff to keep it clean and free of infection. My piss stream pulled to the right for the first few days, and I wasn't allowed to shower for a week, but around 10 days the stitches dissolved and I went swimming in 2 weeks.

In my country a boy's circumcision is a wedding-like event, you throw a circumcision party for your kid, there's food and booze for the adults and entertainment for the kids but instead of you getting married, traditionally some guy with tools comes and cuts your dick. Which I think is more or less the same as getting married. Nowadays you get it done at a hospital and then the party comes a few weeks after once you're back on your feet. And you get gifts in cash or gold. I got like $5k in today's money, but all I got from it was a fucking playstation and my dad lost the rest on the stock market.

Girls don't really mind it. It's not like European chicks will come in flocks to see my exotic cut penis like some other guy said. If the girl agrees to see your penis, that means you already closed the game and why would you care at that point anyway.

I'd talk to my son about it but if he doesn't want to have it done I'd go through with it, but only around age 10 and at a proper hospital, not with bamboo sticks African style or some dude with a box cutter.

The Greeks, a beacon of science, masculinity, philosophy, and literature, thought it was ridiculous.

Here's a contemporary perspective. Stone Age African tribes, Muslims, and Jews (arguably has the most limp-wristed, liberal, SJW, pussy, faggot males per capita) do it.
So does idiotic America. Nowhere else does.

Most of God's covenants had some real world application, though they might not be readily apparent today. Imagine you are a semi-nomadic minor tribe walking around in the desert in a time when only the wealthiest of the wealthy had access to bathing facilities. Circumcision might make more sense then.

For those who don't believe in God, insert spiritual leaders in place, and realize that in old times these leaders also were the closest thing to a doctor.

Circumcision doesn't make a lot of sense in the modern world. It's also safer to eat pig flesh and shellfish than it used to be, if you take precautions. My sons are uncut, and I suspect that by the time they're banging girls it will not be seen as "unusual" to be uncut even in the USA

Modern medicine has debunked any argument on the usefulness of circumcision. I didn't turn this into a religious debate - it IS a religious debate.

Or, you could ignore where I cited the basis of circumcision and focus on the social pressures and stigmas that further its practice. Namely, the scores of fathers who chose have it done so girls won't think their sons are strange.

Considering HPV is so widespread and so many guys like it raw, i feel circumcision is beneficial.
