Greetings everyone, i am heading again to thailand soon, i have been 2 patong twice already in peak season and love it. This year i was thinking of throwing in few nights in phi phi, but i am having major concerns, and i hope any guys with some xp over there can help me out.
- Hotels: First of all i can t find any decent hotel close to the nightlife, always you have this terrible review that put you of, my budget up to 300$/ night if the hotel is good and close the nightlife and girl friendly of course, scrolling to the guest friendly hotels either they are very far away or crap, and after some extensive google search i haven t seen a good list of friendly hotels like the one of patong. Anyone have any hotel suggestions that fits those criteria? (equivalent of jet in ibiza)

-Scoring in phi phi: In patong i was solo and scored every night specially with russian girls at seduction had a table there all my stay, met few wingmans after few nights we were having an entire section, couple of nights i didn t score picked a thai girl from hollywood. But in phi phi it seem a different game, backpackers, Scandinavians, not really my field of expertise. Even though i am 28 fit ,ripped and i do have game, and pulled easily in ibiza and every resort type destinations, i dunno why i feel clubbing in phi phi gonna be a whole different game and out of my comfort zone, either it s gonna be a total hit or miss. How many nights do you think i should stay in phi phi? 2 or 3 or 4 to get the most out of it and leave with no regrets? Are girls all in group?, befriending her girlfriends while offering buckets would work or l ll be there alcohol ticket for the night and maybe meeting a wingman along the way for some team work. I usually don t go for remote places like this but i really wanna give it a shot, and take the risk. Thanks for your advices.

Its nothing like Patong no cars just scooters.... Backpackers, really relaxed life, scuba diving etc... cool beach bars you can drink at all night every night I spent a few days there and banged an sexy 22 American white girl the enitre time. I kinda thought it was my little secret..

Wait at least a couple of months until going to Phi phi. Right now it's low season, bad weather and few people.

If you're going during the FM, you should always book hotels in advance.

Vicious i am going around 26 december to phi phi, i still haven t booked the hotel since i dunno how many nights i should go for, i am hesitating because i am very unfamiliar with backpack scene and i dunno if i ll like, i ll be staying total 2 weeks between patong and phi phi ,so may be i ll stay 2 or 3 or 4 nights, taking my time and reading more travelblogs/ data sheets about phi phi before i finalize my booking.

I'm heading to Thailand in November/December this year and am planning a trip to Phi-Phi from the 5th-9th December, with the full moon party falling in between on the 6th. Bangkok, Pattaya, and Patong are my other destinations. They don't worry me (thank you ThaiFriendly). I am more than likely going to be travelling solo and Phi Phi seems very intimidating without mates. Are there other solo women on the island? How difficult is it to game there?

Also, what would the Phi Phi scene look like during full moon period? Does everyone rush off to Koh Phangan for the party leaving the island deserted, or is it even busier than usual? I've heard contrasting stories.

Plenty of solo women on the Thai islands, mostly are European. Eastern European and also many French and British girls.

One or two days before the FM everybody leaves Phi Phi and goes to Koh Phangan. So you better not stay in Phi Phi unless you are looking for a relaxed night or a break from all the partying.

There are still some tourists on the island, probably going to the FM the same day or not going at all. However the night scene will he much less crowded definitely.

This was during August. The FMP was August 10 or 12 if I remember correctly.

You don't have really anything to concern about, phi phi is a small island, and the nightlife is all in one area, which is the one near the harbour.
So I suggest you, as you will step your foot in the island, walk inside the town and ask directly to the hotel and room-renting you'll find on the street. You'll 100% find something good, and no need to book in advance, since in the island a lot of people come and go, and in the morning or afternoon there's always a lot of places available.
Be careful at your arrival, a typical thai scam is telling you that in the island is all fully booked and in this way they convince you to rent a place which is far from the night-life. Don't fall for this, can be quite annoying. When you arrive in the town and ask to people, surely you'll soon get an idea where is the best area for accomodation. As more far is from the harbour, as more far will be from the nightlife.
Nightlife is all concentrated in an area, and the hot-spot is the beach near the centre, with several sand dancefloor. Here you'll find 80% western tourist, mostly australian, english and scandinavian. Lot of hot chicks ready to be pounded. If you don't mind this kind of western enviroment and some commercial music, I garantee you'll have great fun.

If you did well in Ibiza, you should do well here, even though the enviroment is more backpacker type.
Girls are mostly in set of 2, 3, 4, but you easily find also the solo traveller.
Having a wingman can help, as the whole thing is about dancing drinking and having fun, being the solo player who goes sniping can't always give result.
You can open girls at anytime in Phi Phi, is what the island is done for: fun, picking-up, sex. Of course cockblocking can be an issue, as the distraction, mostly during night time, are several, with girls jumping from club to club and bar to bar. If I were you I would be quite fast, once you established attraction, in asking to the girl to come with you to your room for some action. She might agree, so she will be able to go back to her girlfriends later in the night after having been banged.
