Hey, so I just got to Kiev and am staying for two weeks. Like an idiot I booked a flat in Independence square, which I learned is away from all the cool places and full of the protestor trash. I've read some of the datasheets, which seem pretty helpful, but I was hoping to get the lowdown from some of you for where currently are the best spots for me to get my flag.

Daygame

I was told that Kreschatik street was a good spot and it may be, but on the weekdays it was mostly lame people with a few chicks scattered here and there. I'm wondering where would there be a good concentration of girls. I was told parks and malls were the way to go. If so, which ones would you recommend? The closer to independence square, the better cause that's where I'm staying.

Nightgame

I'm going to take the most popular recommendation and hit up shooters tonight. But outside of that, what venues are good for finding receptive, easier girls who like foreigners (I'm Asian American, decent looking only) and are not pros or semi-pros? For my flag, I'll settle for girls in the 6 or 7 range. I'm trying to avoid scammer places and stuck up girls. Also what nights are best for each particular bar/club?

Kreschatik is not bad for daygame, but you have to wait until 6-7 pm which is the time girls finish work and go shopping. Just be warned that daygame is not easy in Ukraine. It's one of the only few places where nightgame works a lot better. As for the night, according to what you prefer, Shooters sounds ok. Get there early as it's one of the very few places in Kiev with face control to foreigners. You'll find pros essentially everywhere, just be careful and you'll be able to avoid them.

Dontuan, since you're a visible minority (Asian) try to hit up Caribbean Club, it is somewhat close (West) to Arena Center (by Shevchenko Blvd.) and not too much of a walk from Independence Square (about 20 minutes). From my last time in UA I remember seeing a few foreigners there and the girls being friendly. Since it is summer time you might also want to hit the "beach" bars by Dnieper River for some day-gaming. I cannot imagine Kreschatik being good anymore with all the bums and tents/walls/banners everywhere. Also, how is your Russian? If it is lacking you could try hitting the Irish Pub by Golden Gate. I remember a few Anglophone girls there last time I went.

OK, so here's a recap of gaming efforts yesterday.

Tried Shevchenko park. It' a nice small park, but not many girls to hit on. Maybe it will be more crowded on the weekends. Seems like a place with a lot of couples, though. Still, me and Akula opened whatever sets we can. Went with the the "Do you speak English" opener. Surprisingly, not many girls spoke English. I noticed a pattern where the sexier they are and the shorter the skirts, the less likely they were to speak English. Still girls were nice and friendly in general.

We went to an adjacent park overlooking the arch, opened this two set where the both girls were at least 8s, even if you're a tough evaluator with high standards, they were quite hot. One was very tall and the other one was regular girl height. I wanted to shorter one, but she, again spoke no english. Akula spoke some Russian and played translator and she was nice enough to chat with us a bit. I told her I wish we spoke the same language, so she suggested we speak Spanish, which I know a tiny bit. The conversation went on for a few minutes, but petered out. Trust me, I was doing my best. I really wanted it. Eventually Akula just number closed her and we agreed to all hang out later in the week.

Then we walked to Golden Gate, a small square block with statues and cafes where a lot of groups of people girls just loiter around. It's a nice spot since you'll see a crowd of girls waiting at a spot next to the metro station for someone. Sometimes they could be waiting for their boyfriend or date, or sometimes just a friend. But you can just pick them off one by one, playing the lost non-local bit. On the way there, I opened this cute 7 brunette who was crossing the street. Asked about directions. I was pleasantly surprised that she spoke good English and was very nice. I quickly switched to a brief, getting to normal know you conversation and dropped a few jokes here and there, playing dumb to what was going on in the Maidan. She was once of these well-raised, hard working students and wasn't dressed in these heels and low skirts you see around everywhere here. Often, those dolled up, slutty looking women won't speak English or very well. Anyway, finally number closed after like 6 sets. Akula then went home and we decided to do a few more spots tomorrow.

night game:

It was a complete dud. I first tried out art 44 club and it wasn't even open anymore. Then took a cab to Caribbean and paid about 20 dollar cover to get in. I should have paid more attention to the crowd outside, but it turned out to be one of lame places with old cougar-looking Ukrainian sluts and the dumpy guys who love them. I felt like I was in one of those weird Ukraine mail-order bride scenes. I was pissed and left after 10 minutes. Then went to Irish Pub. Nobody was there, like zero people. Then I walked to Avalon, it was also quite lame. On the way there, I saw a hot model chick walking with some fat, bald old guy in sweaty T-shirt. Sure enough, he was escorting her to his Ferrari SUV. You see quite a bit of this here. Money talks and if you have enough of it, you can land a perfect 10 model. Anyway, at this point I'm sick of this crap nightlife and went home.

For some strange reason it's hard to find a decent clubbing venue here, where you dance with girls, flirt and fool around and run normal club game. Every place seems to have this weird transactional vibe. Even shooters on ladies night was a bit like this. The music was this cheesy house dance music and girls mostly danced by themselves or with friends showing off, while guys just parked at the bar and chatted them up and bought them drinks. I'm missing the clubs in Poland where they played hip hop and Rihanna and pit pull and you can grind on girls who get really drunk. Like standard western-style clubbing. No pros or sugar daddy stuff.

Does any know of a regular club like this in Kiev? I just want normal girls, normal partying where you can use night game and girls are interested in hooking up and having fun minus the transactional elements. If so, please tell me. I'm dying here!

Try arena city. It will be poppin Saturday night. Many girls just stroll in pairs, not going in a club or cafe, just waiting for someone to talk to them.

Sunday day, try the park again. They have outdoor salsa certain days, which runs into the early evenings

That's because in FSU clubs are mostly for being seen and people pay to showoff by getting a table. Actually dancing isn't a priority.
Plus most Ukrainian guys, at least older ones, don't dance. It is considered homo like tbh.

That being said sad to hear Caribbean club went downhill. When the club 1st opened it was great.
It was free actually to get in until they made it members only with a club card. Most of the crowd were foreigners particularly from guys working in Latin American embassies stationed in Kiev.
But it was never a pick up place since mostly groups of friends. Great for grinding dancing though.

Did you forget to read like every thread explaining UA mentality and party scene? Going back 3 years!

Dude there has to be some transaction because the women need guys to buy them drinks. Most don't have money and it is the culture. In addition the economy sucks.

Also it is the odd duck that goes to a club looking to hook up. Most chicks live in a flat with their whole frigging family. Guys also live like that. So it is the rear girl who is prepared to get shitfaced and hook up indeed.

In one of the other threads Lucky Luke has been saying that Dali Park and Muzei (sp?) are both vastly superior to other clubs.

The few times I've been out at night here it's been a total dud as well though, although Shooters was ok one Sat night. I think it's bc we're getting into late Summer here + the war in the East has def hurt things here.

I'm sure the war is having an effect on people, though from what I'm seeing in Kharkiv, everything seems like it was a couple years ago, the last time I was here during a July. People are out and about during the day, and the nightlife is fine. Actually this past weekend the nightlife was maybe better than what I remember (for a July). I think Roosh was saying Odessa was basically the same as last year. Perhaps the crisis has affected Kiev more than other places in Ukraine?

I was talking to my landlord the other day, he has the flat listed on slando. I see him regularly as I keep extending my stay. He's not concerned if I leave, he said he's getting a lot calls from people from Donetsk who are interested in renting the flat. And I'm getting that same message from other apartment agents I've dealt with here (via a translator). In this way, perhaps the war in Donetsk is making other cities in Ukraine more lively? I would think Kiev would also have an influx of people from Donetsk too?

Anyway, school is approaching. In one month, I expect Kharkiv to be very busy, and from what I heard from others about how things were last year in late August, I expect Lviv and Kiev to be busy as well, at least I hope that's the case.

As I said, Dali Park and Muzei are head and shoulders better than any other options in Kiev. The only reason why I didn't recommend them in this thread is because the OP didn't want stuck up girls, and those are upscale clubs. You can pull but it's not a pub or hip hop club vibe at all.

Hey so I tried Shevchenko park and Courage Reborn is right. That place is teeming with chicks. It's next to the university so I'd imagine that during school, it's got even more girls. I'd recommend that guys have a wingman when day gaming here in Kiev, most girls who hang around are often with a friend at least. It just makes me it much easier and you can do 10 time more approaches that can be effective. And even when girls are solo, they are often talking on their cell phones. I feel like it's America circa 10 years ago, where girls were always chatting on their phones when they're walking or not with somebody.

Ran into the language barrier a bunch more times. The tragedy of all this is that the most receptive girls often don't speak any English, while the ones that do tend to be more savvy about guys approaching them. Non-English speaking girls often will giggle while English speakers might be a bit more suspicious and tease you or call you out. Like in other countries, knowing the local language can be a real game changer.

With online game I used topface. And the responses were pretty high compared to using badoo in Poland. With Badoo in Poland, I got like 1 out of 50 to message me back. With Topface, messaging girls who were 7 and above, I got responses from 1 out of 6 girls. Sadly, all but a couple responded to me in Ukrainian. The most eager responses by far were also these girls writing in Ukrainian (I used google translate to decipher).

If you don't have a grasp of Russian or Ukrainian, be prepared to hit the pavement hard if you want to game the really pretty girls who aren't golddiggers.

It gets me wondering though, is there any place in Kiev that resembles an American style singles bar where people loiter around the bar and socialize with those around them? Anything close to that?
