This popped up on CNN about butthurt on fat shaming.

Lead victim is this woman.

A Facebook page created to criticize people about their weight is generating controversy in the Yuba-Sutter region.
530 Fatties appears to be created by someone who lives within the local 530 area code, and featured photos of overweight or obese people in public without their permission. With those photos are words mocking the subjects’ weight.
The page was taken down at some point on Monday after CBS13 began looking into it after several people reached out to us.
Jessi Lynn Howell, 18, is still mortified after discovering a picture of herself posted on 530 Fatties.

“It’s really hurtful and it’s really embarrassing,” she said. “I know it’s probably someone from around here, and whoever it is they need to stop because that’s ridiculous.”
Howell says the picture of her was taken in October when she was 50 pounds heavier. She says lifelong medical problems have caused her to struggle with her weight, but medication she’s taking is helping her get control.
“I feel so much better like, the way I get dressed, the way my clothes fit,” she said."

I kind of get the feeling that while Americans have acknowledged they have an obesity problem, the public has sort of just given up on the idea that they will ever get thinner and instead have chosen to redefine fat as the new normal.

I think instant gratification is the problem. In America, the trend for many trying to reform themselves is "WE WANT EVERYTHING NOW". No patience for seeing results overtime, that's why we drive ourselves silly checking the scale everyday and/or buy unnecessary devices (heart rate monitors) to try and micromanage our fitness regimen. No will to fight through it and remain discipline in the diet.

Hence you'll see above Facebook posts like those in the photo that celebrates obesity and demand acceptance. Why try hard and lose weight when it's easier to shame and brainwash people into thinking that obesity acceptance is the way to go?

We live in a society where eating unhealthy and consuming vast amounts of alcohol is glamorized. All in which doing so is just incredibly bad for our bodies but hey we don't have health problems now so who cares? Don't even get me started on the actual quality of our food. Most of it's shit.

It's no wonder why there's a fair amount of women on Facebook that once they get a certain age and a certain weight they use different images (pet, child, random photo) to display their initial profile photo. They're outright ashamed of themselves

I don't see what the fuss is. She looks like Kate Upton. If Kate Upton is fun, Kate Upton at twice her size is twice as fun.

I will never look at Kate Upton the same again. Thank you for your eye gouging comparison.

It's a shame because she has a cute face. Imagine how many hot girls there are out there who are hidden, literally, under mounds of adipose tissue.

You might wanna read the forum guidelines/announcements about proper thread titles.

Since you're new, and I didn't recognize your username, I just assumed the thread title was describing your notch count.

There are literally millions upon millions of them.

Every time I come back home I am appalled at the fatties. What's almost is bad are the girls who have packed on 15-25 extra pounds on them (usually since early teenage times) - they would be much healthier and more attractive but settle for being 5s- 6s at best bc "fat is beautiful" etc.

Right now I am located a little south of the 530. I kind of block out the fatties but now that think about it there is a lot of them in the area. The one bright spot for the 530 is Chico State and swarm of college girls.

Like someone said, these days, girls pride themselves on being fat because it's "more lovin to go around" or "tons of fun" or something to that extent.

I can handle curves, but rolls, no. Rolls are for eating, not for bodies.
