'Two and a Half Men' to Feature Gay Wedding Between Protagonists in Final Season

Quote:Quote:

So says Nina Tassler, the CBS entertainment chairman, speaking to reporters about the sitcom during the summer press tour. Apparently, Walden has some sort of health scare, which propels him to get all freaked out about the true meaning of life and wonder if he should adopt a child. Because that’s a tough task for a single man, he wrangles in Alan to help.

“So once and for all he decides, ‘I’m going to propose to Alan and we’re going to get married and adopt a child as a gay couple,’”

Quote:Quote:

“I think it’s a very positive statement that, you know what, I am going to adopt a child as [part of] a gay couple and the reality is, he can do that,” she told the trade paper, adding that the storyline is especially poignant “in a universe where at one point you couldn’t do that.”

Given that in some places, same-sex couples still aren’t allowed to do that, what does GLAAD have to say about this? Although the activist group didn’t want to speculate on a plot that no one has seen, GLAAD President Sarah Kate Ellis did offer a statement about how she hopes the storyline will proceed.

“We hope the show will acknowledge not only the progress made in acceptance of gay and lesbian couples, but also the fact that — in many areas of the country —same-sex couples are often under greater scrutiny or still barred from adoption options that straight couples have,” Ellis said.

Quote:Quote:

“[Kutcher’s character] wants to find a way to add more meaning to his life, so he decides he wants to adopt a child,” Tassler said at the TCAs. “In doing so, he starts the process and he realizes that it’s very difficult, to adopt a child as a single, straight man. So, once and for all, he decides, ‘I’m going to propose to Alan, we’re going to get married and adopt a child as a gay couple.’”‘ Tassler presumably paused as silence filled the room, broken only by a nervous cough. Good, she said to herself. We’re getting people thinking.

Still, while some have already balked at the idea of gay marriage being a part of Two And A Half Men, where it can be unflinchingly addressed without the amelioration of comedy, Tassler said she was convinced the show wouldn’t garner any backlash. “I think it’s a very positive statement that, you know what, I am going to adopt a child as [part of] a gay couple and the reality is, he can do that,” Tassler said of the storyline, which hopes to enlighten those who have loudly resisted equal rights for homosexuals, by having its characters pretend to be gay as a means of scamming others.

WTF? the series protagonists are gonna get married so walden can adopt a child? because he's so ball-less he need to fake marry alan? what are these writers smokin? Walden is portrayed by Ashton Kutcher, they tellin me this guy has no other options than gay marriage to adopt a kid, even being handsome and rich!?!?!?!

it seems this series got so boring that they have no other choice then inserting gay agenda right down the viewer's throat

that doesn't make any goddam fuckin sense, if it's hard adopting a child as a homo why doesnt walden just find some random chick to get her preg? why doesnt he makes like a Roosh and go to eastern europe find some hot and nursing wife?
NO, fuck that, what he needs is marrying his best friend to scam the system, fuck the kid who will grown up having 2 daddies that aren't even in a actual relationship

'Two and a Half Men' to Feature Gay Wedding Between Protagonists in Final Season

The series became shit after Sheen left the show, Kutcher is not funny, and the Alan character, that was the target of some gay jokes compared to his womanizer brother, became more gay after they include Kutcher´s character. And the lesbian daughter of Charlie is not even funny at all. The show was good, but they ruined it with political correctness.

The show became unwatchable after Sheen left.

Funny how even current stars on the show feel the need to blast it.

Didn't Alan's character this past season had a thing with a tranny ?

I'm surprised that the bunch of old farts that watch CBS tolerate all this progressive bs.

Show has been bullshit as others have said since Sheen left. Sheen was a player and pussy pounding machine, Kutcher is a beta getting locked down by ugly bitches and crying half the time on the show.

Kutcher never even belonged on the show.

Kutcher is a sophomoric overgrown frat boy whose antics I have never found remotely funny.

The show has been a zombie since Charlie Sheen left, allowed to wander around for many years past its natural expiration date. It needed the shotgun a long time ago.

This absolute asspull of a gay wedding story arc to end it all, that makes no sense within the context of the show and is obviously only being done to appease the priesthood of political correctness, is only the final exclamation point to a show long since overturned.

I'm glad it's ending. Good riddance.

This show has sucked ass. I have not watched one single episode since Charlie Sheen left.

The gay wedding story is just the shit icing on top of the shit cake that was formerly a kick-ass show.

Back in the day, you had Charlie: a womanizing alpha dog, Alan, a loser who pined over his two wives, and Jake, a wisecracking fat kid.

Thank God this shit fest is gonna end.
