weeks in The Philippines
I seen some people were interested in going to The Philippines for vacation on here. I was there earlier this year, and will be going back in November to stay longer this next time. I studied this country a lot, learned a lot of the main language Tagalog, and the more I learned about this country, the more amazing it seemed. If I had 1 word to describe it, it would be Majestic. The people are so helpful and friendly there its unreal. I play a lot of chess, and I remember reading somewhere that Bobby Fischer choose to visit The Philippines after he became world chess champion in 1972. When asked why he choose Philippines, he replied, "I was there when i was not yet world champion, but they treated me like one." I could write a book on how great the country is to me, but I know everybody has their own preference. Here is a picture montage of my time I had there. Can't wait to go back. Cheers.

May I ask where were you in the P.I. lucasboy? just curious
IMHO I would rather say that the whole country is dirty noisy and corrupted
It sounds more realistic than majestic
There are a few exceptions of course like davao or some remote islands but I noticed that filipinos are much more trustful outside the P.I. than in their own country and that most of the time smiles are not as innocent as they look

Not all parts of the country are great, just like any country in the world. But where I live now, in America, mainly a lot of fat half dead miserable people everywhere you go. In The Philippines, you might be poor, but at least you have a smile on your face and your healthy. They have some of the most beautiful unique places in the world there also. The pinay women there especially, seem to almost have no ego, they are as real as a girl can possibly come, pure not corrupt. Gold skin, gold heart. Anyways, good luck to you mrnomer14, its more fun in the phil.

That isawesome CaptainCrazy, my plan is to also live there within the next 2 years.

@prisonbreak I was staying in Pasay in a nice condo kinda close to Mall Of Asia, I would just walk there if I needed. I went all over Metro Manila, Quezon, Makati, Cavite, Tagaytay, Laguna, etc. But when I go again in November, it will be Manila for just 1 week, then Bacolod for a week and also Cebu for 2 weeks, so I will get a good taste this time.

Maybe you can't trust some of the pinoy smiles, I agree these guys can be dangerous as hell. But honestly I didn't have 1 single problem my whole time there besides the airlines had delayed my luggage so I didn't get it for a few days. It's all perception really, you can only see as far as you can think, thoughts become things... Stay positive and good things will happen, think negative bad things will happen, its that simple. Philippines is the number 1 Asian country like America, they speak the best english out of all them also. Here is a great tourism video if anybody has not seen it already.

well lucasboy glad you enjoyed Manila pollution so much I m sure you will enjoy Cebu too then coz it s rapidly becoming more and more congested
As for the people in the Visayas I agree they would be far more friendly than the ones in Luzon (kapampangan being the worst) but friendly doesnt mean you can trust them
remember you are a kano and you will always be
In case of a conflict with anybody about anything you will be wrong and there will be 20 people to testify that including the ones who smiled at you and vouched for you 1 hour ago
Sounds sarcastic but you have been a few weeks in the P.I...as for me the first time I was there was 10 years ago and I spent some time there...
I saw things that people told me about before and that I wouldnt believe at first so I guess you will have to see them with ur own eyes before agreeing with me or not
no problem about that I just feel I had to warn you that s all coz you seem so innocent....and dont believe in toursim propaganda pls...

I dont know what city you live in America but I come from the most beautiful city in the world maybe that s why I see things differently and we dont have so many fat people around...yet

As for me I practice sports and I eat healthy food every day
Just think about that: P.I. never had even 1 gold medal in the Olympics!!!
They have 1 boxer who is famous and thats it
Pinoys do a bit of sport in the college period
There will be 6 millions diabetics in this country within 10 years
does it sound healthy to you?
everywhere I look I can see the average pinay who is small and chubby with a nice jollybelly due to the healthy food you can find in P.I....
and I m talking about 18/22y.o. only
usually after that age they already have 1 or 2 children and things get worse
of course there are a few exceptions but not enough to my taste
Now if you tell me you eat at jollibee and like the food and find it healthy....well nothing more to say then....

@prisonbreak

All things considered.. haha pretty funny, 1 famous boxer and thats it! Nice. I been skateboarding for 15 years, always maintained my weight and had a 6 pack since I can remember. 1 of the greatest skaters in the world is FIl-AM named Sean Malto. Actually never tried jollibee, a pinay offered to eat there but I declined. I was vegan for 2 years before, and actually about 2 weeks prior to my vacation going to Phil I did some Fasting, thats the fastest way to health if you do it right. Anyways, thanks for your input, maybe you are right, maybe I will have to see with my own eyes. I'm not interested in the pinoys tho, I've heard all kinds of things about them like they can only copy something with no originality or whatever. The pinays are far more talented then them. I will find my asawa this next time. [Image: banana.gif]

Why does it matter if they suck at sport and are diabetic? How does it any effect on you? As for Jolibee, like above just don't go there, it is a mystery to me why they eat that crap (American Influence?) It isn't even cheap for a local like McDonalds is cheap for a westerner compared to a restaurant.

The Philippines are real interesting, I haven't been to another Asian country, as far as whether they're nice or not, I think it's kind of academic, they prefer to be nice but they very in-the-moment, if there's a tribal conflict, like above poster said, they will unite and go back on their word very quickly because their minds work in a tropical way, there is only the here-and-how, what was said before is not really relevant.

I've had so many chicks talk all romantic to me and then act like they don't know me two days later... but not because they're mad, like would be the case with an Ameribeest... because they're in another place and time..

For the cynical, the above was separate from their attempts to mooch money ahahha. Sometimes I'd say no and they'd be all romantic anyway.

actually it matters when it come to bodies
coz you become what you eat
I think lucasboy will agree with me on that
so if you eat shit food every day no fruits and no vegetables like most pinays do and you dont practice sport at all you can t have a firm and nice body
go in the street of Manila or Cebu and show me a pinay with a flat stomach....really hard to find
I m an aesthete I like 9 or 10s only and in the phils they are hard to find
a lot of 5 or 6s though available for cheap that s correct
in a way it isnt their fault coz they dont have education and nobody taught them what to eat at school and at home

I like the look of most of the girls in your first video. Where did you find these types (cute and petite) and are they plentiful or hard to find? Did you use online game, daygame, etc.

@gooogle1000

I found the majority of them on http://www.pinalove.com A few of them I just met randomly while I was there. I would skype with them and they would teach me their language, and I built friendships with them. They did everything for me and then some. One of the first pinays I met online, I sent $600 dollars to her so she could reserve my condo for me. She was pregnant also, she waited for me in my condo and was there when I got off the plane. Couldn't ask for a better friend than that. Helped me out so much, even gave me some cool gifts. So did the others as well. So for all those people that think you can't trust pinay, I sent 600 dollars to one and I had the greatest most fun times of my life. I think that the people who get "scammed" by pinay women, are the ones that don't have anything to offer. If you can offer a woman something genuine and real, money doesn't matter, people need human touch..They see you as a guest in their country and they appreciate that and want to make sure you are ok. These are the women that I find myself most compatible with. For me its a no brainer, I don't even consider any other girls besides pinay.. And I've had my fair share of women in my life at 26 so far. I went to The Philippines for the adventure, for the thrill of it all, the woman are just an added bonus that comes with it all. My last day there I almost missed my flight back on purpose. I actually felt hopeless and so sad on the way back home. For me, it feels like I belong there, and I won't stop until I make my dream a reality. Thanks to all who watched my video, it's to inspire not to impress. Cheers.

@lucasboy87

I didn't realize there was a video in your first post until just now. Much better for everyone if you embed them into your post.

Here you go...

Living here in the Philippines "Majestic" is not the first word that comes to mind. But I gotta give you props for posting a video of your trip.

Sending $600 to anyone in that situation seems like a dumb idea. Even if it did work out for you.

I agree with lucasboy87 as far as getting scammed. I kept having people warn me and warn me of all the gold digging scandolous females I would encounter before I left for the Phils. When I was there I literally could not give these girls money when I tried. I would try to pay them back for food they bought, brought to my apartment and cooked for me, an they would not take it. I tried to give some cab money when they were leaving but they were not interested. I think the guys that get scammed in the Phils are guys who are going there cause they don't do well with the ladies where ever they live.
