Your thoughts on venues

1. Based on your experience, which venues have you been the most successful at?
2. Related to question 1, what was the day and time for the venues?
3. If you have been running game for a while, have you noticed any changes or emerging trends in terms of your venues?

4. Are loud venues like clubs and loud bars worth going when it's nearly impossible to talk?

From what I've noticed size matters, if only just so statistics can help you out and present more opportunities. For me there's a psychological part of the venue size as well. I feel like a larger venue means you're a little more open because if your approach goes terrible (drink in face) then you can laugh the shit off and move to a different spot.

Sound seems to make a big difference too. Unfortunately for me right now the venues I end up at are smaller, and they almost always have live music (the nights there's no music there's no people) and the bands are WAY to loud for the size of the place. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't live in an uptight suburb where no one dances. If the place is loud but everyones dancing, I personally think its EASIER to approach, atleast if you dont have two left feet.

1. Lounges, bars, restaurants, clubs - in that order
2. Lounges, bars, restaurants (Monday - Saturday, 6pm to 11pm)
3. Depending on how old you are will determine this. I am 32 and thats my current rankings. If you are between 21-30 I think you can take out the lounges and restaurants and just work the bars and clubs.
4. Yes, after 12am.

How do you guys feel about happy hour or early week nights? Although I haven't had much success yet during the evening hours, I was able to get a few numbers and only one date so far this year.

For ONS/SNL's I've had the best luck in small dive bars. I have the most trouble in clubs. All other bars are hit or miss. In every case, the golden window was between 11 and 1 (bars in DC close @ 3, Virginia and MD @ 2). Not too late that the women are all sloppy drunk and their friends are ready to go home -- not too early that bitch shields are up in full force.

Happy hour during week days seems to work well if you find a bar with a decent ratio. The women out during these days/times usually aren't amateurs (roosh has covered this topic somewhere) and are more likely to be DTF that night.

Wouldn't a weeknight happy hour draw more "regulars" ? I would think a woman would be more on guard if she was even some what acquainted with everyone there. Then again if you're game is on point as all hell and you walk in and out looking and acting like the man that fact actually might work in your favor because she can be seen leaving with the badass alpha.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks clubs aren't the best spots to pick up some girls

At first I would say no but, loud clubs are a blessing since you can't hear, then this gives you an excuse to get up close.
