elabayarde(two Americans) in the UK and ireland

Ok, so here is the deal. I and a friend will be hitting up the UK and Ireland for a week. We will be flying in to London Heathrow, and can go anywhere from there. He has his heart set on a Irish flag. I am cool with either, however I definitely want to get a bang of two. I've read the easiest girls in the UK thread but didn't see alot about the Irish chicks. He's a pretty decent looking guy and in shape. There shouldn't be any race hang ups being he's white. Where would you go in the UK and Ireland for a bang? Btw we are Americans, is the anywhere that we would still get a novelty factor? Also does online game even exist?

The 17th - 22nd of June. We should be in Ireland. If any of u guys wanna meet up, that would be cool also. We land in the UK on the 16th. Probably fly lhr to dub... But that part is completely flexible. What's going on around that time?

Newcastle is a good shout if you are lively night life guys. In my experience Americans go over well in the industrial, less cosmopolitan cities like Glasgow, manchester, Newcastle, and liverpool.

Lotharioooooo what's been up man. Have you been to Ireland? Give me a comparison, with the girls. Are they hard to crack, or easy. We can use American chicks as our data point.

Here is my Trip report to england last month, read Copac's Post # 26 for newcastle, also contact him if you decide to go to Newcastle. In simple words he is One great guy to hang out with solid game. Ding it ...I still have to do his Game Analysis [Image: smile.gif]

Comparing English girls to US girls for a guy from US, you will find better response spitting game at them, Do accentuate your American accent and do tell them you are from Miami/NYC/LA. I have seen you dress sharp, do the same in UK and you will crush your competition.

How is it during the week?

The problem with going to small places is that during the week they are dead.

I don'g get why anyone would want to go to Ireland for more than a weekend in Dublin; I am mostly Irish so have spent my fair share of time on the Emerald Isle and it just bores me to death! Even Dublin is nothing more than a small town really.

Even here in Birmingham, supposedly the 2nd city, nightlife is relatively quiet during the week.

If you can afford it, you'd be nuts not to just spend the whole time in London.

Newcastle's a cool place but fuck me it's a long way from everywhere really.

I feel like saying this to people going on short trips is the dumbest thing ever.

Small towns are dead during the week.
Small towns have smaller populations.
Even if there is a venue or two, there will be one for the old people and one for the young.
All the students will go to that one place.

You arent gonna be famous going into a random small town.. not in a weekends time.
You are simply the outsider.. people will wonder why you even came to visit.
In small towns...most people are looking to get out...not get in.

Your chances of getting a bang are lower..because everyone will know if a chick fucks that foreign dude that was here for a couple days.

Save the trouble.. stick to mid range.high populations with more anonymity and actually range of night life venues

I lived in London for a few years, I never got the desire to visit Dublin. Ryanair has £1 seat sales and that still didn't entice me.

Alright I focus on hitting the west coast from Galway to Cork. Best bang for your book and most scenic/authentic part of Ireland in my opinion.

Definitely rent a car. Something small and cheap since it won't matter too much, just for getting around.

If you are flying into Dublin then stay your first night near the Temple Bar area. This is a solid area for drinking and probably Irelands best known area for nightlife.

Get up hungover the next morning, get yourself an all Irish breakfast and make the drive to Galway. Stay close to the Spanish Arch or Eyre Square. The place I would recommend drinking at in Galway is the Roisin Dubh. http://www.roisindubh.net/

Its an epic bar with lots of Spanish, French and American tourists on tour. Plus plenty of Irish girls. Its a trad bar (more old school Ireland) but always has a great crowd and live music. I have pulled here nearly everytime I have gone, sometimes more then one girl per night.

Maybe do two days in Galway if ya like the vibe. A drive out to Connemara, about 1 hour west, is worth it for cool scenery and to visit 'the bog'.

Next day take a drive down to Doolin and Lahinch. This is one of Irelands best surf towns and has pretty wild nightlife on the right weekend. Just walk the one main street and find where 'the session' (drinking) is good. Good place for some cheap surf rentals too which makes for a good story.

Id skip Limerick, but if you decide to do it check out Costellos and the Wicked Chicken. In fact if you decide to go here PM me and my brother might be able to meet up with ye. He has some great connections in the city for nightlife and places to stay.

From Limerick/Clare you can drive down to Cork city/Killarney/Killkenny. They all have great nightlife over the weekend and are good party spots.

If you want to Skype me get in touch as I will be able to give you better advice by talking to you.

Let me know what your plans turn out to be and Ill give you more detailed info. Galway, Cork and Kerry are the parts I recommend the most though for the combination of nightlife/scenery/old school Ireland madness.

Chat to everyone you meet and tell them you are looking for the real Irish experience. The locals will love that and make sure you have a great time. Plus buying someone a pint gets you a friend for life (for guys not girls haha).

I'm based in Dublin, but I second what Atlantic wrote.
Re the Róisín Dubh pub in Galway, for sure you'll get talking to chicks there, and some are cute. Not all will be DTF but you can probably screen for that early on in the interaction.
The only reservation I'd have is that, you probably won't find the finest women in Galway in the Róisín, definitely bangable girls, but not top drawer.
City centre spots like 'The Front Door' will attract the more mainstream girls who aren't into the likes of the Róisín Dubh(which doesn't tend to play the more chick friendly chart or r&b type music that most women love).
The pubs along High St. and Quay St. are usually chock a block at the weekends, they're essentially tourist pubs, with wooden decor, but you get a real mix of people in them, tourists, natives, hippies, suits, students, you name it - but the class of chick you meet in this part of town is more likely up for a good time with a couple of charming Americans than the Dominick St. area of Galway which attracts the 'cooler', slightly hipstery folk.
You've also got Eyre Square which is a bit messier at night time, the likes of 'The Skeffington Hotel' and it's nightclub is another option, it's cheap and unclassy but plenty of late teens/early 20s roll in this area.
Some are local skanks(don't go there), but also a few students from the local universities who might still be around for another weekend before heading home for the Summer. But might be worth checking out.
I would recommend hitting the city centre at first, and if you're not feeling it, head out to Róisín Dubh and the Dominick St. area after a while(you've also got a huge pub called 'Monroes' which attracts all sorts, and all ages, can be hit and miss but you'll probably meet at least a few cute girls in there too).

We are thinking about going to Sweden before or after our trip to Ireland. Would you guys focus more on that part of the world, if any of you have been to both?

It's cool you are going to Britain, but to be honest I think its not a good place to game if you are American. The American accent doesn't have the same affect on the women, like it does for American women when a British man goes state side. If you are a black american man, then this might give you an advantage however. Still the cities and towns are pretty much designed for binge drinking and are very cheap when compared to London. Be careful though, when bars start to close, you end up having a lot of fights, its just part of the night out for a lot of people.

8pm Binge drink

10pm roll into a bar, get some shots and pints

1130pm roll into a night club and piss about a bit finding the right women with enough women

1230am start hitting on women, while they are all taking, or the make up they are wearing starts to wear off.

0130am start speaking to women in the corridors of the club, get some numbers, make out, have an argument with one of their friends, that ends up with swearing and aggression.

0200-0330 get into a fight, which will involve a small group of people, with some overweight drunk woman trying to cling on to her Neanderthal boyfriend while he is destroying some smaller geezer.

1100am Wake up with blood on your shirt round some random birds house, not having a clue what happened the night before.

This is how it works out for a lot of assosciates back home.

To be honest, you're a little late if you wanted to find some students.

By now they've all retreated into their small towns and villages, started going to the gym and are trying to get fit for their trips. i.e Interailing, going to Santa Ponsa/ Magaluf/ Croatia. Or they have gone stateside on a J1.

They might be working hard and saving up for these trips to be honest, not heading out. However, I'd still hit the major cities. Dublin, Galway, Cork (Maybe) in that order. Temple Bar is a tourist trap and I warn you that you will get ripped off.

Festivals would be your best bet.
Body & Soul on the 20th http://bodyandsoul.ie/ is the only one with a big enough rep that I could recommend but if it was me.
I'd stay the hell out of Ireland and go to London!

I didn't either but that was only because of my ignorance and my fear of the Orange vs Catholics which was raging at the time..I didn't want to go up North and deal with any vicious Irish..but now I would love to go..my cousin said she went up there and it's lovely..I've always wanted to visit Scotland too

@bojangles True, but in my experience, they were 'the worst of the Irish' (as a Mayo friend of mine once said).
Slight generalisation, but the Irish in Liverpool were mostly Dubliners from the wrong side of the tracks.
Layabouts, scroungers, ne'er do wells, part time drug addicts/alcoholic, unemployed and mostly unemployable.
A lot of them went to Liverpool cos of the Dublin to Liverpool ferry link that operated up until the 90s, to my knowledge.
