Well, well, well interesting to see how Hollywood is dealing with this chick putting them on blast for saying their movie Neighbors influenced the shooting Sat.

My ongoing argument that progressivism has replaced religion as a way for Puritans to fuel their sense of moral superiority and clutch their pearls as they morally-scold others might be dissuaded if they didn't continually-resemble Temperance Crusaders from 1905.

Must just be some innate feminine instinct for ugly women to wag fingers at people they see as less-worthy of moral adoration than them for the pattern to keep repeating despite the destruction of Christianity.

Ann Hornaday may not have intended to prompt quite so much ire with her weekend essay linking the mindset of the 22-year-old alleged to have killed six UC Santa Barbara students in a murderous rampage last week with unrealistic expectations about the social options for young men propagated by movies such as Neighbors.

As opposed to the unrealistic expectations about the social options for aging career-orientated feminist women and the life-fulfilment they'll find through boring office work instead of family, as sold by Universities.

People are reacting to this like it has never happened before. I am sure I can dig up plenty of stories relating to murders carried out by damaged individuals who couldn't get what they wanted.

Social media is taken way too seriously these days.

The mistake Seth Rogen made is losing frame and responding on social media. Social media is a way for opportunistic women in media to make a name for themselves because it give them direct access to a celebrity or public figure without her having to build a serious body of work to be respected enough to have access..

Because Rogen became angry and defensive - he chimped out - he 'loses' the argument in the reader's mind - no matter how logical his statements are - and her stock is increased through validation.

What he should have said:

1st Tweet: "Point taken. Hollywood is getting-together in 5 minutes to discuss how to fix unrealistic sexual expectations in films."

Wait an hour. She gets to feel smug and validated and social-justice-in-action and is already planning her next step up the sour-faced cat lady ladder.

Then, unleash the sarcasm:

2nd Tweet: "Done! Joe Manganiello has agreed to keep his damn shirt on, and Ryan Gosling will stop eye-fucking the camera."

3rd Tweet: "Force feeding Chris Evans a cronut as I tweet."

4th Tweet: "George Clooney just realised he's free of 25 years of pressure to be 'so goddamn charming I could just explode' and is now asking everyone if he can take a shit on camera."

5th Tweet: "Channing Tatum says he's sorry, has cancelled Magic Mike 2, and is asking that all copies of the original be returned."

6th Tweet: "Yes, even that 2nd copy you keep in your vibrator drawer under the layer of bra camouflage."

Yeah, some people might cluck their tongues and say he's being tasteless, in which case:

"Have you even *seen* my movies? Were you expecting fucking Merchant and Ivory?"

Ridicule your opponent with humour. She'll lose her shit and look crazy. That's how you 'win'.
