Yet another damn Philippines trip report...

So I’m adding to the already great mass of Philippines threads, but I want to give something back to this forum since you guys have helped me a hell of a lot.

Intro

So I’ve dated Filipinas in my own country, learnt a little about the culture and the country. I loved the sound of the country whenever I spoke to people about it. Then I started seeing the threads on here and…I wanted in. Needed an epic trip like this to shake my life up a little and hopefully inspire me. So I took a month off to jet around to different cities all over Philippines. Only stayed in each one for around 5 days. Although it wasn’t long to stay in each place I think it worked out pretty well

Personal Profile

British – Girls loved the accent
Tall (like 6”3) – Loved the height
Mid twenties – “Your too young for Philippines” Heard this many times.
Pretty slim (only been lifting for 5 months) – No one thought I was skinny at all...
White as hell – Well, what do you think?

Game

To be totally honest I mainly relied on online to meet girls. I knew I needed to hit the ground running in each city due to my short stays but I would say I used it as a bit of a crutch and do a great deal of cold approaches (simply didn’t need to). I do feel like I wasted a chance to push myself more further, especially in such favourable conditions.

Started messaging girls on DIA and Cherry about a month before hand. Major props to the SwoopTheWorld guys here, I basically followed their style. Mainly Chatted, got them on skype, flirted, sexualised, pushed hard to test the limits, sent pictures, dick pictures if I thought I could get away with it, it worked. So this all made things a lot a lot smoother when I met them. So mainly it was a case of getting logistics on lock and battling heavy LMR (sometimes).

I didn’t lie to girls about staying longer or anything. If they were interested I would tell them about my plans. Many asked if I was meeting other girls. Most were cool with it, a couple were not. Some simply didn’t ask, but they knew.

General game was to meet, hang out at the mall or something, some reason to go back to my place, escalate/a little comfort, bang. Didn’t fail once. But to be fair most of these girls were screened hard before I’d even step foot in the country.

Notches for my trip was around averaged out to be around 3 a week. I was in no rush to rack up notches, so I saw most of the girls more than once, usually hanging out for a few days and exploring together. I was banging more less every night anyway.

How it went down

Rural Luzon
First of all when I touched down I was greeted by an ex of mine (course that doesn't count as a notch!) Spent a couple of days with her seeing real rural towns in Luzon. Everyone was staring like crazy in these places, I didn’t see any other foreigners. Pretty damn intimidating at first, especially walking through a mall when you can feel 95% of people’s eyes on you. But I guess I’m not exactly fucking conspicuous. Went to a couple of small towns, went to a nice beach resort. Nothing worth mentioning to you guys really.

Manila

I stayed in Makati and rented a studio apartment near Greenbelt mall. Logistics were air tight and it paid off. You could literally get laid as much as you want with DIA and this. It didn’t work out any more expensive than a hotel either.

Greenbelt mall was the shit for meeting girls, hanging out, eating, drinking, day and night. I always arranged to meet girls here. Prices were a little more expensive obviously but not excessive coming from the west.

Most memorable moment was trying walking around trying to find a girl I was meeting. Getting annoyed and thinking of bailing. Then seeing a tiny girl in a tight dress and heels- must have been 5”not much. Tiny 20 year old model, fuck numbers, she was cute as hell. Sweet attitude, occasionally growling like a puppy and making me laugh my ass off. Anyways…

Dumaguete

Total contrast to Manila. Had a happy and smiling sweet girl meet me at the airport, check in to hotel, touchdown. Felt very chilled out and relaxed here, great for hiring a motorbike and riding around. Everyone is flying around in tricycles. Locals seemed very friendly. A few tourists, generally older foreigners and retired. I can see why.

Went to Apo Island, beautiful paradise with hardly any tourists. Snorkelling here is great, lots of giant turtles and sea life.

Checked out Zanzibar, small bar with many locals, few tourists. I did pull and bang from here.

Tikibar is worth checking out for food and drink, more of a place to take a date rather than pick up.

Why not. I can see potential for getting laid easily here... But it wasn’t really my scene. Mainly old (unfit) foreigners and lots of working girls. I looked and felt totally out of place so I bounced to zanzibar. To be fair Its quite a crazy place and I’m sure laughs can be had here.

Cebu

Ayala mall was again a great place to meet girls, hang out go for dates. Not quite as big or flashy as Greenbelt but it had it certainly had its own charm. Always plenty going and hot girls hanging out in these big malls.

Mango square, mental. I can echo what everyone else has said about this place. Lots of bars/clubs in one place, working girls everywhere, lady boys approaching, Koreans in great numbers. I checked out J Ave which was a laugh, big dance floor, plenty of girls. Outside I was constantly approached by pimps and working girls.

“You like girls?” “Of course I do” “what about these girls here…” “Yeahh I don’t pay” “Oh you won’t get laid then” “Watch me”

So yeah decent place to go and party if your about that night game or laugh at the crazy goings on around there.

Met a girl from DIA and to my surprise her gay best friend turned up too. Even though in my mind I felt like saying fuck this, in the end I managed to pull it off. Eventually he had left (after like an hour and a half…) I said go back to my place so I can shower before we go for drinks. We didn’t make it out for drinks. In fact she didn’t even return home for days, until I left Cebu. Real cool chick with a different look to her, people kept mistaking her for a Thai girl, super fine body and she knew a couple sweet tricks. She showed me all around different stops in Cebu including a Taoist Temple, Cebu top (view of the whole city) and decent spots around the city.

Palawan

Palawan the most beautiful beaches and unspoilt nature, I really enjoyed by time here. I actually got a girl from earlier in the trip come and meet me for an adventure around the place. Quite glad of because the picking up potential didn’t seem as high as the other cities, and the girl was crazy. Dancing naked around the room, singing her favourite songs sort of crazy.

Stayed in Puerto Princesa in a hotel on Rizal (good location to stay). There are plenty of small nightlife options and decent places to eat along here. The tricycles try to rip your off majorly if your white. I didn’t experience this in Dumaguete at all, maybe the mentality is different here since there is much more tourists. My advise, learn what the price should be, have the change ready, give it to them and just get out and your destination “salamat!”

The Baywalk is definitely worth checking out. I didn’t see many foreigners here at all. Just lots of Filipino people hanging out having a good time in the evenings. Plenty of local street food here, beer, people riding up and down on bicycles? haha.

Rented a motorcycle and rode around 70Km to Sabang beach. Your best bet is to rent one of the Honda XR200’s if you can, think it cost me around 1000p for 24 hours. An amazing ride and relatively easy to find your way. The roads, sights, little villages and lush forests I passed through along the way were beautiful it was worth it for this alone.

Also went to Bakers Hill, sort of like a Filipino Alice in wonderland garden with nice food... Quite a funny place to check out with a girl. Crocodile farm was worth checking out too (take a girl) some massive crocodiles there (17 foot and 600kg).

Davao

Didn't get to spent as long as id have liked to in Davao due to some flight complications. I personally preferred the look of the girls in Davao but that’s mainly down to personal preferences. Met a filipina from DIA who had a lot of spanish in her, enough to give her a sexy plump ass! She drove me around Davao and took a ferry to check out Samal Island. Great place to go with a girl, plenty of decent resorts for chilling.

Bars here closed quite early (like 1am apparently), didn’t go to anywhere remarkable but it was a weekday so there wasn't much going on. I did end up bouncing a girl to a KTV bar (forget the name) which I wasn't keen on to start with. But…private room, beers and alcohol brought to you, girl gets to sing and dance around (choosing the most fun and sexy songs of course). Escalating is pretty much dance floor game, or you can sit down get her on your lap. I think bar-ktv-bang is a pretty decent plan but only had time to execute this once.

Personal Observations

I felt myself become desensitised to things that could really piss me off back home. Like the crazy driving, cold showers, things not always working like they should and just little things that would usually chip away at my mood. When things started going wrong instead of reacting negatively I found it much easier to chill and go with the flow, adapt.

Surprisingly I didn’t actually miss the comfort or “safety” of back home at all. Sometimes even walking down the street could easily lead to a serve leg/foot injury if your not observant.

Security is serious here. Police and security guards have guns. Shotguns, pistols, I even saw one sub machine gun. But unlike back home they were generally quite humble, friendly and helpful. Malls all have high security, guards with scanners, checking womens bags. Some of this searches are rubbish haha.

It’s more fun in Philippines.

Yet another damn Philippines trip report...

Solid trip report - brings back memories of my own trip! Nice choice of places to visit in Philippines - that's my opinion! I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else.
When I read Philippine trip reports I often already know there will be no day game ,seems like online game is so easy that there is no need for anything else. I have tried day game in Cebu and around Greenbelt and failed every time! I remember coming back to Tune hotel and getting online and have a date set up withing 30-40 min! Girls would come right to my room..and hang out.
J-ave area in Cebu - my experience was very different! No one approached me and no one offered anything. No ladyboys in sight. J-ave club was full of Koreans and had some amazingly good looking Korean girls! I didn't see any working girls anywhere.
Maybe economy is changing since I was there a year ago?
I often wonder if the girls described were the same girls I had sex with...[Image: smile.gif]

LOL - Damn Pimps! That's some funny shit..."Oh, you won't get laid then" He doesn't know the advantage of being a foreigner? Maybe you should have had him follow you around & demo your game to him!!!

Nice report thought bro! I wouldn't worry about the over-saturation of Philippine Trip reports. The more the merrier! Always good to read a report and get a different view from another RVF member!

Nice report, concise and to the point.

Purely from a looks perspective, how would you rank Manila/Cebu/Mindanao?

Great report man!
Manila, Cebu and Davao have been covered extensively here but not so much on Dumaguete. How was the talent there on the street and online?
It looks like a gem of a place for sure from not just your report but all the other people I hear or read about it.

Thanks for the likes and rep guys, glad my report was well received!

Wayout - Yeah I thought they were all solid choices, each place had something different to offer. Thanks, your making me feel less guilty from not doing so much "real" game now. To be fair it was my first time to travel that far, be gone for so long and flying solo in the unknown. So I was already over a thousand of miles out of my comfort zone haha. Your Mango experience sounds very different to mine, the koreans are still there though! I was there on a Friday night (2 hours after touchdown haha) and it was pretty very busy. I dare say it's entirely possible, can't blame them really.

rcraig33hb - I nearly laughed my ass off when he said it. Was tempted to pull up numerous evidence pictures on my phone right then... But I thought why the hell bother, there's hot girls over there... One "his girls" claimed she had seen me already on DIA. Ha.

ChrisGambi - Tough question dude.. I don't think I spent enough time in each city to give you a reliable answer. But I will say I think some of the most beautiful girls I saw were in Davao.. But girls from Manila, Cebu and Davao all have their own little looks going on.

VP - Dumaguete was indeed a gem. You don't get the vast number of hot girls like in the big cities (on the streets or online), but there are always cuties around with sweet attitudes to match. Just felt very laid back here, everyone just hanging out, eating out on the street together at night. City of the gentle people sums it up pretty well. Food and drink was the cheapest here out of all the places I went (I'm talking like 40 peso for a beer in one place!) I highly recommend checking out Apo Island with a chick. Do some snorkeling (giant turtles) and eat in the restaurant with the most picturesque view of the sea. There are even resorts on the island you can stay at but for me personally a day was enough there. If your based in Davao now I'd high recommend pipe-lining and jetting over there when you need to recharge your batteries. PM me if you want to know any specifics.

Nice report Jasper.

Regarding the KTV thing, I've used that as an escalator with "good" girls in the Philippines. Some its clear right off that you won't need to use any mechanism other than the "gotta recharge my phone" or other back to the apartment excuse. But when its necessary to prolong and change venues and otherwise build, the KTV thing is (1) fun (though might be expensive for some more frugal travelers (figure you'll spend around $40 max in Makate, much less out in the smaller cities) (2) a way to get in a private space without her feeling like she's being tricked into it, and this allows her to allow personal contact without the threat of other Pinays judging her for interacting with a foreigner. I highly recommend meet up to meal to ktv to kiss close to whatever you can do thereafter.

I have to say that half of my trips to the Philippines have resulted in antibiotics or otherwise being sick. First time was smog in Makate (I've heard Dumaguete was even worse than Makate Burgos area, Greenbelt isn't so smoggy). Second time was some kind of lymph node thing in Quezon City that required antibiotics (only really lost a day). A week after getting back from my most recent trip (Taguig/Fort and Boracay) I end up with conjunctivitis. Given the gap of time in between, I cannot be 100 percent sure I picked it up in the Philippines, but it seems possible that some girl gave me the bug. (Not that living in China isn't a potential culprit, but I'd not been out much in the week before it presented itself). Anyway, I'm in Vegas now for work and it sucked having a swollen red eye (finally appears to be on its way out).

Again, good report. Augment it as things enter your memory - the devil truly is in the detail.

I've referral links for most credit cards, PM me for them & thanks if you use them
Strip away judeo-christian ethics ingraining sex is dirty/bad & the idea we're taking advantage of these girls disintegrates. Once you've lost that ethical quandary (which it isn't outside religion) then they've no reason to play the victim, you've no reason to feel the rogue. The interaction is to their benefit.

Great datasheet!

It sounds like the pipelining really paid off.

The Philippines sounds like a place where don't really have to put much into getting laid. I really need to check it out soon.

Would you say that being a foreigner, safety/security was a issue?

G_global - Cheers man. Yeah I know what you saying, sometimes you know you really don't need to over complicate it. Totally agree with all your points about KTVs, now going to be a secret weapon in future conquests. I was a little wasted so I really don't remember the name or price but the one I hit in davao was definitely much less than $40.

Jeez..sucks that you got ill so much there, I heard that from a couple others here too and was a little worried. But didn't suffer while I was there at all, more when I got home - jet lagged, sleep deprived everyone in England had colds. Anyway isn't China meant to be crazy bad for smog? If you can survive there you would think you could survive anywhere!

Biologist - It sure did, it meant I could be quite a lazy fucker. I'd say you still you (often) have to put work in but its like easy mode. It's easier to tell if they are into you (they all are.. haha). Just comes down to getting logistics in order, escalating, sometimes battling LMR, leading the interaction where you want it to go... But sometimes just logistics will do.

Glad it went so well for you!

You went to a lot of places I'm going to visit my next time there. I mainly stayed in Manila and while I got to know the city pretty well, I didn't see nearly as much of the country as I wanted.

Walking from place to place is no issue!

Just expect to experience some low volume streets w/o side walks...other streets will have narrow side walks (depending on location). A major street like JP Laurel is fine to walk on!

rhr is from Germany, man. Keep that in mind when you read that he thinks it's not walkable. His standards are MUCH higher than an American's, regarding walkability and public transportation.

If you're American, Davao is basically like an American city, you can walk about or take a taxi. BUT there are times when there is construction, and you have to walk on the street. Also, crossing the streets is more dangerous than in America, the cars just come at you and you have to just walk forward and hope they stop, which they usually do. It's not a big deal, but safety-wise that kind of thing wouldn't fly in America, and I'm thinking Germany is similar, since rhr was pretty surprised by it.

Since I've been to Mexico, I saw it as similar to Mexico, more of the "who gives a f***" attitude common to certain things in the Philippines and Mexico.
