Here's a shout out to any guys who will be attending the "Lightening in a Bottle" festival Thurs-Sun, May 22-25 in Bradley, CA.

LIB is a music festival with a lot of electronic music combined with an alternative festival remnant of Burning Man. I attended B Man last year and it was the best week of my life and I HIGHLY recommend everyone try it out at least once. The people, the vibe, the beautiful women, the art, music, parties, workshops and sheer amount of fun is on a different level.

I've been to Youtobia last Sep in San Diego, and once you experience these types of festivals you want more, hence I'm going to LIB next weekend with some friends. There are really cool workshops to check out, camp sites with lots of parties and it's a good vibe to pickup women. You can dress however you want, drink or do psychadelics and logistics are in your favor because everyone's on a big camp site. Stay out til the sunrise and meet women dressed in next to nothing.

I haven't looked over the itinerary yet, but it'd be fun to meet any RVF members who will be attending, knock back some drinks and party/pickup girls.

A little about me, I'm 28, white, a chef and consider myself an intermediate when it comes to game. I've been trained by McQueen himself and have rolled out with two other RVF members in the past.

I just have to say, cheers to going to LIB.

i also attended burning man last year, the event itself is one of a kind.
i would have to say its a great way to get in touch with yourself, as alot of people here want to learn game, at the end of the day, game is only going to help you learn more about yourself.

Events like this area great for getting in touch with yourself and really realizing what you want.

i wont be attending LIB, but i will be attending Burning man again this year if anyone want to hook up in Reno.

I agree, it's all about letting go of your societal idea of "you" and just having a good time. Plus the psychadelics and how completely different it feels from everyday life add to the experience.

I'll definitely be at Burning Man and was thinking of hosting a meetup for RVF members. To game at Bman is like nothing else out there.

Lets host a RVF meet up in Reno and go from there. it would definitely be something worth going over.

I'm pretty sure my group is not stopping in Reno except for picking up supplies on our way to Burning Man.

And trying to meet in the playa is tricky because there's no cell reception (which is half the joy of getting out of the default world). We'll plan something as we get closer, maybe picking a place and time at Burning Man and going from there.

I'm just thinking of it right now, and it would be such a blast. Start early in the week and take over the place by Sunday. Do you go for the whole week?

Btw, the festival was a fucking amazing time. Great music sets, cool workshops, fine women and lots of good parties. Definitely learned a few things about gaming women in alternative festivals

- The BEST way is to game girls camping near you. They are the only ones you will see regularly. With no cellphones/reception, it's hard to meetup with girls, so when you meet them the first time you've got to all the way. By night is much easier than during the day in general. Still, the girls near your camp have the best logistics.

- Workshops are great places to meet women, as you'll meet them away from the big party scene at night. It's easy to chat about the workshop you just took, and invite them to meet you at another workshop, or invite them to your camp for drinks. To invite them to camp is not easy because there are no specific directions. It's better to walk them back to your camp and show them your spot or go to there's. This way you could tell her to meetup with you at 2am, which is when most of the shows are done. Afterparty is the way to go from that point on.

I'm definitely feeling a thread on alternative festivals would be useful.
