Looks like Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong. I went out there a few times a couple of years ago and it’s basically a foreigner hang out spot. I saw very few Chinese men when I was there. Hong Kong has got the worst quality of women I’ve seen in Asia. Chinese people themselves tell me that Hong Kong (Cantonese women) are not considered good looking. The best looking women I saw there were Latinas and Europeans.

I’m almost certain that those women are HK Chinese. They tend to speak perfect English because Hong Kong was a British territory until 1997, and the British education system is still in use as far as I know.

To be honest, I have the complete opposite reaction to most of you guys. I think this was a complete Western newb in Asia move. Here's why. He'll get away with that once, twice, ten, fifty times even. As everyone has rightly pointed out, a lot of Asian guys are complete betas. Yet that beta rage builds and builds. Asian men are notorious for putting up with massive amounts of shit from everyone -- their parents, their wives/girlfriends, their bosses, foreign guys. Yet when they finally snap, it's insane. If you've ever seen an Asian finally lose his shit, you'll know that those Jackie Chan movies where guys come after others with meat cleavers are not an exaggeration. Fists are the least of anyone's concerns.

So this clown and his clown friend egging him on will get away with this with slutty, ugly women X number of times, and then one day, they'll pick the wrong guy and he will snap. Then that's when the second point that those guys (and many people in this thread) are missing comes into play: Asians never go one on one in a fight. At the very least, they will have half a dozen other betas who are known to them (not even part of their immediate crew, but still known to them, and it's also not uncommon for people here to actually make phone calls for back up) join in. The other thing is that other beta locals may join in simply as pay back for all the times the white devil has swooped in and publicly humiliated them too. Losing face is a big thing here. People never forget. If an opportunity presents itself to exact revenge, they will.

I once found myself in a situation that almost came to this. My colleague was like the guy in that video times ten, only he was old and creepy too. At the time, I lived in an industrial city in Taiwan, and they have a lot of Southeast Asian factory workers there. On their one day off, they all go to local clubs run for them (that the local Taiwanese won't go to because they are massively racist towards SEA). A lot of them get really sloppy drunk at any time of the day (you can be in there at 11am and it's like it's 3am anywhere else). A lot are pretty cool and pretty chill and there's a good vibe in those places. They're cool with you being there if you're respectful, and many will invite you into their group and so on, unlike a lot of Taiwanese who won't talk to any strangers at all in such a setting (which makes some of their clubs really suck). It's a lot of fun being at those places. Some white guys found out about those places, and so whenever I went there, I'd always see a couple of other white guys there in the know.

On this particular occasion, my colleague had been drinking and was quite drunk. I went off somewhere else, but I could hear and see a slight commotion from where he had last been. I went over there, and he was trying to talk to a Thai guy and apologise to him. Yet that guy wasn't having a bit of it. I summised that my colleague had pulled one of his signature dodgy moves on one of the women there because there was a girl nearby not looking very happy. In the meantime, the guy and about half a dozen of his friends were quite agitated. I kept having to tell my colleague to sit down and STFU because we were about ten seconds away from having 300 SEA guys beat the shit out of us. There were a couple of other white guys on the other side of the room who didn't even know us, and they probably would have been beaten up too simply for being guilty by association. People are tribal, and if they see their own in a fight, they're going to back them up, even if they have know idea what it's about. After that, I stopped going there with my colleague because he was a disaster waiting to happen.

Okay, so you might say that my colleague simply had bad game, especially as evidenced by the woman not being happy. However, a female (Western) colleague of me once told me that she witnessed the following story. A couple of white guys in that city I used to live in constantly shamelessly pulled the kinds of moves the guy in that video does on Taiwanese women who had guys with them at a particular bar. They'd openly make out with those girls in front of the guys they'd arrived with. Apparently, they got away with it for months. Then, one night, words were spoken and the bartenders quietly locked the doors and the white guys had a big "Oh shit!" moment. They ended up in hospital. You tell me if the local police filed assault charges on the local guys. You don't want to unleash beta rage in Asia as a white guy, not over some silly sluts, especially when there are so many much nicer (in every way) girls who can be approached in different ways (day game, online game, etc.). Total amateur move.

Back to this topic, this shit isn't even the most beta thing I've seen in Asia, not by a long shot. One time my friend and I visited an anonymous third tier Chinese city and were passing by that city's sole club when some high school age girls standing outside the entrance basically grabbed us and pulled us in by our limbs to go to their mixed table. The girl that grabbed me was more or less snuggling up to me and making moves, when her friend pointed at the guy sitting next to that girl and said that's her boyfriend. Incredulously I leaned towards the guy and asked him like an idiot "this is your girlfriend???" EDIT: Related anecdote. A couple months back I was in the club on the dfloor while one of my good mates was DJ'ing.
