yes, in both of their minds it is clear that getting married will somehow magically fix things, that won't work and so they will try to have a kid as the next hail mary.

I've only ever heard him talk about it in the context of women who carousel ride and then try to hop off at the last second and get married. I listened to this on Friday and I had some thoughts about it.

Firstly, it was refreshing to hear someone lay into a women who had clearly done something wrong like this. The interviewer called her out several times about lying, and how mush of a disaster she had caused. He also went as far as to indicate that her whore-ness had a lot to do with her parents. This is something I believe too, and is something I actively screen for if I ever decide to go down to the LTR road. Him pointing out that this girl was getting on in years was also great. I also agreed with him blaming the guy for enabling his whore of a fiance, and not standing up to her. Him not standing up to her, as he correctly pointed out, was bad for both her and him, and the reason he wasn't doing it was because he was afraid of her dumping him. This was obvious when the guy said how beautiful she was, and readily agree when the interviewer asked about saving the marriage, having kids, etc. Conversely, it was clear she didn't give two shits about him or his feelings.

Unfortunately, Jim blew it by telling the interviewer, who asked him about the goalposts being moved after this, that he would basically attempt to forgive her. Up to that point, you felt like he was seeing the writing on the wall, and maybe was going to stand up for himself, but instead pussy'd out and stuck with her. At that point, Jane could do almost anything and he would forgive her. It not even a question of whether she would do this again. She will, and he'll forgive her. Ultimately, they will get married, and she will fuck another guy or three, and he'll be divorced, possibly with kids involved. If this isn't an epiphany girl for him, then I don't know what is.

Listening to this stirred up a lot of memories of my last blue-pill LTR that got me into the red-pill mindset, and I was laughing at some of the similarities. Once a girl like that has gained so much power in a relationship, it's nearly impossible to recover it. She'll just keep walking all over you until you either go nuts, or she leaves. It can be a really tough position, as they've been together for a long time, they have this marriage planned, and likely have sent out invitations, etc. All of this can give him false reasons for staying around. The only possible way to recover your dignity is to blow it up. He won't do this though, because of the above reasons. When this happened to me, I thought that my girlfriend was my friend, and I always stuck by my friends when times were difficult. This was something I had drilled into me with my guy friends on the soccer pitch and hockey rink, but I learned that women in this regard are the exact opposite of men. Sticking by your cheating GF in a situation like this is only going to make her hate you more. A clear example of this is when she was describing the cheating early on and was showing no emotion. She'd already accepted what she had done, and was fine with.

This part is important, girls...and guys for that matter that are very wishy washy get me concerned if I depend on them. I used to work a job where if something happened to me, i was dependent on someone for first aid, air ambulance helicopter, scene management etc.
