Okay, just got back from a night out. At a regular bar I go to, and these two walk in. One of them is an 8, rocking body, hot face, definitely Latina, wearing a super low cut orange tank top showing off an amazing rack. Other one is bangable, but completely dressed down in a sweatshirt and forward facing white baseball cap. She looks like shit. I'm at the bar talking to an acquaintance I ran into, and wait until these girls finish a drink, they're sitting at a table. I go to their table and sit down, "So these chairs are WAY more comfortable than the bar seating." They're both speechless and smiling. They start throwing a little shit my way and I'm deflecting, telling them how I'm a regular and pretty much sit wherever I want, and mention how they seem like one of the more interesting tables in the room to talk to, what are they doing there that night, etc. I get a little good feedback, the 8 asks me where I live, they both tell me I seem confident and they've never been approached like this before, I make a couple jokes, make it seem like I just wandered over out of sheer boredom, and then white baseball hat goes into uber bitch mode and tells me how she has a boyfriend, refuses to shake my hand or introduce herself, starts trying to take cracks at me, unlike her hot friend, and starts with the negative vibes. Finally hot orange tank top levels with me and says, "Well, you're very entertaining, but we really did come here for some girl time to catch up." I reply "That's perfect, because I'm getting another drink."

No other worthy approaches that night. I'm pretty confident that if the 8 was with a cooler girlfriend or by herself I would have made some progress. At no point did they separate during the night. Got drinks together, bathroom break together, etc. Obviously my ideal scenario would be to kick white baseball cap in the ovaries and laugh at her on the floor while orange tank top worships my gall and affront to cockblockers everywhere, but the realistic ideal scenario would be to simply progress with the hottie while putting some cockblocking bitch in her place. How would you have gone through? I'm fine with letting this one go, but I always like to pick apart scenarios to learn for the next time...I know there have probably been numerous threads on different cockblocking scenarios, but really, what is the extent that you can put a cockblocking bitch in her place while still generating interest from the target? It seems like a very fine line, that if you insult her friend too much obviously the target will peg you as a complete asshole and that's that.

Interpolating from the details you've provided here, it sounds like you didn't spend enough time/effort neutralizing the ug. The signs are all there. She started off friendly and quickly soured when it became obvious you were only there to get with the 8. Out of obligation and loyalty to her friend, the 8 let you off easy. She probably would have been receptive to your game under different circumstances.

Somewhere in those few minutes and those early "jokes," you telegraphed some bad vibes or body language to the (relatively) ugly friend and this infuriated her. She's used to this shit and she wasn't ready to hear it that night. This is why I go super-hard on the ugly in this type of situation. It's almost impossible to over-do it. I go nuclear. For every one good line or look to the cute one, I give the fatty/nasty three. I hit 'em so hard they temporarily forget about their obvious shortcomings. In order to achieve this, I dig deep and basically make believe what ever their liability (fatness, manly face, frumpy look) is my fetish. I dance with them (even if it's not a dance place), I kino them, I get to know their stupid life story. All the while, I keep the cute one warmed up enough to not have her wander away. This takes some serious orchestration and energy (especially to keep it cool and not clownish), and is part of the heavy behind-the-scenes work bitches will never understand we have to go through just to get a decent lay. They don't know the shit we have to put up with.

After getting the ugly friend sufficiently drunk on the best of my charm offerings--and having impressed the cute friend by proxy (on an instinctual level she'll catch the drift)--I do a QUICK (and I mean quick) number close on the cute one and exit. Or, you can go big and try to isolate. But that's dangerous. I usually hedge my bets on an ugly-hot duo.

This is where wings are so valuable!!! 9/10 approaching a 2 set alone, where one is ugly/fat is a losing battle. It's even easier in 3+ sets. I wait for my target to go to the bathroom, or anytime I can catch her alone, even if she is taking a phone call.

Alos, It is much, much easier to game a 2 set where both are hot - hell, you can game both and whomever you click with, becomes your target. That's easy.

The fat friend will always be conscious that you are not there for her! As a result, she will try to roast you because of her emotional insecurities that this happens all the time with her friend.

Now, you would think that beautiful women woudl stop hanging out with ugly, fat friends, well - they won't. Beautiful women rarely have girls that are more beautiful than they are around, it takes the spotlight away from them - which, just cannot happen.

It's part of what turns women on, and gives them the attention they desperately desire: To be sought after by many men, and that these men have to scale mountains and swim oceans for their attention. Why do you think the 8 was dressed so revealing if she really only wanted to "chat with her girlfriend" - hell you can go to a church or a lonely park and do that, but they chose a bar full of men...you think?

In reviewing some mental notes last night:
Truthmosis, if I did have a shot at the 8 last night, your advice was def. the way to go. I'd say I was super casual and indirect in my rapport with both of them and was addressing them both equally, however I did have in my mind, "That 8 is smoking, how am I going to work around white baseball cap?" so I may have worn some of that on my sleeve. I don't mind shit-testing, I'd say 80-90% of the time a girl does it with a smile on her face or is being playful about it, but when it goes from shit-testing to being a downright rude bitch, I have a hard time not mentally reacting from it and thinking, "You dumb bitch, you would be *lucky* to go home with me..." and that might come out on my sleeve too.

I texted a buddy of mine after this and he joked about the same thing...bring him along as wing next time, and he is about the only friend I know that I'd feel confident doing that with.

Mixx, my feeling with the 8 is she probably dressed like that because she's Latina and single and that's just how she goes out. This bar is one of the sort of higher end cocktail bars in L.A. that was actually pretty dead last night, and every other guy in the bar was huddled in with a friend talking about movie deals and whatnot, definitely no other prowlers like me around
