Mona Lisa (1986) was a truly great movie, he plays the driver of an escort. Guys who haven't seen it should check it out, it's one of those movies you'll always remember.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, Hoskins was great in Dennis Potter's "Pennies From Heaven".
An excellent actor.
