I have a similar story, although I didn't use my position of authority as I should have.
2 Years ago, when I was 18, I got a job working for a Landlord in lower Manhattan. My job was to deal with all prospective tenants. That meant meeting them when they came into the leasing office, giving them tours of the buildings that were by my office, and then processing their applications.
I would check their credit reports and call their references. My boss actually gave me the power to accept or deny tenants applications myself. I would handle the $500 application deposits myself, and it was up to me whether or not I would call them in to sign a lease, or call them to tell them to pick up their application deposit.
I actually loved having that power, and the only reason they trusted me with doing all that was because the buildings were located in the most expensive, and arguably nicest area of Manhattan....So no matter what, these apartments were getting rented. I occasionally did make minor fuck-ups and got screamed at, but there were always more people lined up that wanted to rent so the owner was never really concerned about anything.
The dopest aspect of working their was that
nearly all of the prospective tenants were young NYU students or recently graduated young professionals. Guess what that meant?
A ton of hot young girls.
It was the 1st time in my life where I
automatically commanded respect from girls, without doing anything. It helped that I had a beard and dressed up for work (the owner 4 other co-workers dressed like slobs). The applicants just assumed I had graduated college and was in my 20's, not realizing I was just a freshman intern.
Anyway, I would constantly flirt with the chicks and they would flirt back with me, because they wanted me to help them get their apartment application approved. Looking back on it, I was a freaking idiot. I think I could have banged a lot of these girls, but I was a huge pussy and was afraid of losing my job (even though it was just a summer gig). Both tenants and brokers were constantly flirting with me and kissing my ass -
thankfully my dad told me I needed to step it up.
About a month before my job ended and I went back to school, my dad goes "Spider, what's going on with the girls from work? I'm sure there are a lot of cute students trying to rent, how come I haven't heard about any of them?"
Damn, pops was right. Literally the next day I go in to work, determined to start banging a tenant. A few hours go by and finally this sexy Thai girl walks into my office. Dark skin, long black hair, tall tight body.
I immediately tell her that I'm going to help her find a place to move into. She had already seen a place on our website that she was intent on moving into, so I hand her the application form and she fills it out for me. Meanwhile, I'm asking her questions about where she's from, where she goes to college, her major etc. And I'm asking it pretty seriously as if it's important that I know. I'm also joking with her a bit telling her we'll see if I can help her, I'll have to think about it

She leaves the office, and I open her application. I immediately pull out my phone, copy down her number and shoot her some lame text, "Forgot to get your number, glad you left it with me."
She wants the apartment so we flirt back and forth and agree to meet up after work so I can
give her a private tour of the place (I wasn't really supposed to take keys overnight but fuck it).
After the tour we walk all the way back to my house. Unfortunately my parents are there so we couldn't really fool around, but my dad def thought I was the man for taking his advice so quickly.
My game actually kind of sucked back then, and it took me a few weeks to bang her. Funny thing is,
3 years later, and I'm still banging her. She's my little Thai mistress.
Bottom line is if I had put in any sort of effort I could have nailed several girls that summer. Working in Real Estate where you have the power to provide housing for a girl puts you in a position of authority. It gives you power, and as we know girls dig that.
And of course, if the chick really wants to live in the rental unit you have control over, there's a good chance she's willing to give you something in return.
