***There's another thread that discusses the veracity of affirmations, this thread is meant to be more of a list of affirmations intended for game-specific use, not a dupe of that thread***
Got this idea of trying affirmations in game from McQueen ( highly recommend http://blockedurl.com/the-alpha-playboy/ ).
Essentially, you tell yourself something to remember who you are, or what your goals are.
This can be good if you are feeling down after getting rejected or forgetting where you are coming from. Think Robin Williams' Peter Pan who became all beta, and forgot his true free alpha nature (side note, I think it's makes perfect sense that the popularity of the "Peter Pan Syndrome" happened in the 1980-90s, as "feminism" really started to take hold; the idea of a guy being a player and not settling down to be a provider was under attack).
McQueen has some great ones in his book (check it out).
I dedicate this thread to sharing affirmations for game. It doesn't matter if they sound silly of not. The point of an affirmation is to re-affirm something that might not feel like it makes sense at the time.
Here are some that come to mind:
"I am a Testarosa"
"I am a wolf"
"I am a lion"
These are to remind you that you are not just a normal, hum drum guy. You won't be put in that box. You are a player, and live life in the fast lane (or have that option), on your own terms. You are the top of the food chain. For me, it helps to have something visual in there.
Feel free to post yours here.
