I have a profile and I'm trying to get a foothold by bidding on a ton of jobs cheaply or virtually for free - mind you,
Be
very careful with this approach. I have a friend who did the same thing and got banned for "Bidding on too many jobs and not getting hired". That was the actual reason Upwork gave him. And was after he hadn't even gone through half of his free monthly job bidding credits yet.
After he insisted on answers via the Upwork support, they changed their reasoning to "there's too many people with your skillset and not enough demand, so we don't need you on our platform at this time." or something like that.
This was even
after he had already landed an actual gig on there.
I think Upwork has some kind of algorithm that detects spamming, which happens on an ongoing basis mostly by IRT's that bid on anything that moves, even if they don't have the skills required for that job. Be careful not to falsely get caught by this algorithm, Upwork isn't exactly known to reverse bans.
Edit: I may actually be able to help you out because I have access to a client account. It's not my own account, I just manage it for certain projects sometimes. So the only way it would work is if I'd hire you for something I actually need and can justify. Based on the skillset you added to your post, we might be able to come up with something.
So I can't guarantee anything, but feel free to PM so we can talk details.
