I can't stand people eating on transport.

It seems that people panic at the idea of being in an enclosed space without access to food. So they prepare for it like they are going on a picnic.

Just sit there - not eat - and read a book. The same applies for train journeys as well. Going three hours without eating is not difficult.

Ironically this media exposure has increased awareness and made this trend more popular.

Being good little hypocrites, feminists who don't like WWEOT are now posting Facebook photos of men who posted on WWEOT to try to shame them: Men who post on "Women who eat on tubes"

women will do brunch just to say the word brunch. it's nearly a requirement for them

Good observation. Both the word and the concept of brunch have an enduring and mystical appeal for the female soul.

Never seen anyone eat on the trains in Bangkok, Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur. Pretty sure it's banned in all those places actually.

There were actually signs on the tube a few years ago asking people not to eat on trains, I guess the women think they are exempt from this, naturally.

Exactly. It wasn't "creepy" then was it.

Victim? Unless she was beaten for eating on the train, I think they're using this term a little too loosely.

Exactly. Bitches are treating pics of women eating to perverted upskirt pics or something. You don't have the expectation of privacy when you're out in public. I don't agree with trying to look under women's skirts, but if you've got a burger out and eating it in front of my face, why claim such embarrassment at being photographed eating it? If you're THAT self-conscious about being captured eating...keep that shit in the bag until you get to your destination.

What if she is dreaming of stuffing her face on the train tho?

This woman admits that she has taken photos of strangers in public and uploaded the pictures to social networks ... but she had Facebook remove her picture from WWEOT.

This is the best trolling ever made because technically there's nothing wrong with it.

  1. It's legal to take a photograph of someone in a public place.
  2. Eating food is a natural activity with no funny or sexual undertones. Adults eat food on Nick Jr.
  3. The women in the photos are not identified.
  4. The women eating the food are not fat.
  5. There is no defamation or insults.
  6. There is no invasion of privacy.
  7. The facebook page and tumblr blog is a positive safe space.
So what is exactly wrong with Women Who Eat On Tubes?

"Women Who Eat on Tubes" sparks outrage

A few months ago I was on the subway, and these two south Asian girls get on and sit across from me. One is eating pad Thai or some kind of sloppy noodle dish, and the other has a huge pretzel covered in smelly yellow mustard that stinks up the whole car. They just go ahead and chow down like it's a completely normal thing to do.
