Tapping into your creativity

Does anyone know of any good creative hobbies that area easy to pick up? The thing is, I am looking to tap into my creative side, admittedly in part to impress girls, but also to find better ways of expression in my own life. I would say I'm not particularly gifted at right-brain activities (though I would consider my non-fiction writing to be above average) and I never really received formal training in any area of the arts. What immediately comes to mind is photography and dance, as they seem to be fairly easy to learn and integrate into your every day life (whereas something like singing or an instrument requires a lot more hard work and instruction before one can really reap the rewards). Your thoughts?

Dance is a great creative hobby that will also help in other areas of life. I think also something that lets you cultivate and practice your sense of humor is a good idea, like a comedy blog or Youtube tv show.

Yeah dancing its a great idea, I want to give it a try too. It's a potential seduction weapon to have in your arsenal.

An instrument does indeed require alot of hard work and determination, but a teacher is not necessarily required. If you got enough time and determination you might one to try one out.

Also you might want to consider training a martial art. There are so many cool martial arts out there, do some research and see which one interests you most and try incorporating it in your lifestyle. The thing with martial arts is that they take alot of years to come close to perfection and understanding, they sometimes also require to lead your life accordingly to its philosophy.
