Do you think I can live on a $1000 budget if I?
- Do not go out at all
- Get a condo in Quezon City near SM North
- Only extra spending will be paying cheap dinner for girls and their taxi fare.

I think the provinces are best suited for you instead of the Capital Region and Manila.
There are great second and third tier cities that you can easily get by with $1000 and sometimes even save money.

Cagayan de Oro, Tagbilaran, Dumaguete, Olongapo, Bacolod, Iloilo, etc.

Do girls in other cities (than Manila) tend to be more conservative? The girls in Manila were liberal and open-minded. For me, Manila was a vibrant cosmopolitan city. How do Cebu and Davao compare to Manila? My requirements are good varied, non seedy, non P4P nightlife places? I'm not too interested in the beach life. I presume Cebu is going to be the best option, besides Manila?

Dude most other cities are quite seedy, in fact they r like a jungle, lol.. Cebu looks like the only other option..

Your other option would be 2 internet game these girls heavy so that you can fuck em once your hear, as I made that mistake, lol,

I just used Tinder a few days before with a GPS spoofer. That's all the pipe-lining that was needed. I deleted FC, it was a bit of overkill. Sure if I just wanted notches, then I'd be hitting it "heavy", as you say.

I've got friends in PH, plus might be transferring with my company, so I just wanna meet more cool people my age with similar interests and build a bit of a rotation.

While I don't doubt you could do MNL on 1k/month it would not be fun at all. I'd say a good amount to shoot for in MNL would be 2k/month based on talks with Pinoys I know here.

Recently for fun but more so due to boredom, I opened a FC account and in 3 weeks been bombarded. Over 1k emails from girls there. I've been quiet impressed by the overall talent there specially in MNL. I'm really thinking if spending a few moths there from this fall...

VP, it's good to hear you are getting interest. I have a FC account and for some reason I just don't get many emails. Every time I log in I'll get about 10 "Interest Sent" in about 30 seconds, but not many from girls that I would be interested in. I do get a few "emails" but not very many. Of course the longer I'm logged in the more interest starts to accumulate, but I'm not getting very many attractive girls emailing or sending interest. They will respond if I send interest or an email though, but it fizzles out pretty quick.

This is in stark comparison to two years ago when I first started an FC account and was blown away by the talent and interest in me.

I'm bald though and only have two pictures up, maybe that's a negative. I've put my age in the mid 30s instead of 43, but I'm not sure that's making a difference either. I've recently changed my location to Makati thinking girls might be doing searches for guys that are local, but that hasn't been the case. It's made no difference.

Well, my ticket to Manila is booked, and the car has been sold. Yet I'm getting nervous I may be disappointed. Maybe it's just cold feet on my part since this is my first trip abroad alone, and for a significant amount of time.

Some have mentioned online girls are mostly P4P, some have mentioned they are not. I suspect it's both. To say all girls online are pros/semi-pros would be like saying all the girls in North America online are prostitutes as well. Logic says if a girls want's to meet guys and she has a computer she would probably put up a profile. Maybe there is a different dating site that are geared towards locals?

Onto,
Yeah definitely add more pics of you, like smiling pics and doing cool activities. That will get you more interest for sure. Don't worry about the age thing, they're pretty lax with that as long as you are not in your 60 or beyond. Even then I'm sure you'd get plenty of action from sexy young things. [Image: smile.gif]

Don't worry also about location. I'd put it as being in the US and pipeline a few good ones to keep you going once you get there. But once you arrive , you'll see find of girls probably better all around you. Just smile and say hi and most will respond and then work your magic from then on.

But do get on that plane and get there. You will have the time if your life. Like nothing you've seen or experienced before! Prepare to be super spoilt! To the point of not wanting to return to the US ever again! Don't say you were not warned...[Image: smile.gif]

Edit: don't give your real name to these girls. I use an alias which us my middle name. Even create a secondary FB account with that fake name just for these girls.

I agree with using a fake name. This one girl from Zamboanga I was camming with said she busted her american ex because of a link to another girl on his facebook page--one in her barangay (suburb)!

There's really no need to tell them your last name on cams either. You want to preserve as much anonymity as possible in the phils. My trip to Davao I might even look into a fake passport (is that even possible?) for hotel purposes. I hear some girls like to bribe hotel clerks to get info on a guy. The gossiping networks in phils is quite extensive. I would think it difficult to game 3 or more girls there in the same town if its a small one like Dumiguente versus a bigger town like Davao. Word gets around quick as far as white dudes go.

The other thing is to be mindful about is name display on emails and calls (real name). I set up a seperate Skype account for every three girls. It was getting ridiculous with 20+ chicks and you know how jealous filipinas are if you don't respond right away.

Solid advice right there. I always have my overseas alias/persona when traveling abroad. With a different facebook to verify it as well.
Sometimes you can use your persona to encourage yourself to be the person you always wanted to be. Nobody knows you overseas, if you have approach anxiety in your home country you don't have to have it traveling the world as the great Mr. Gatsby [Image: biggrin.gif]

With the schedule of: Eat, do some work for few hours, game online, get them to meet, and that's it. I don't really feel like doing much else besides laying low and meet girls for low profile dates if required. Numbeo says that the average monthly rental for condo in Quezon City city central is less than $184 USD, which is 4 times less than the average cost of rental in Makati. Can anyone confirm this?

Can't confirm or deny that, but I'm pretty sure that an $184 condo in Metro Manila is going to be on the shabby side, and in the middle of a crowded, poor, polluted area, which is what Manila is (including QC) except for small enclaves. From my research an OK studio in a condo building with security, pool etc would start at about $350-$400.

Wouldn't it be better to live in a $200 room in Dumaguete? There you can stroll down to the seaside boulevarde to pick up girls. In a cheap area in Manila, you won't want to go outside.

A decent studio condo in Makati or the Fort is going to cost you around $700 + on a short term lease.

I'd recommend a place if they would have returned my deposit by now.

Here is a condo right next to SM North for $9800 peso ($224 USD), and this is just the first from the search that came up. It doesn't show the outside of the condo though.

With that said, how is the area around SM North?

Brodiaga,
If memory serves, you're from NYC with a decent to good paying job. Manila all the way.

Stay near Greenbelt, not near Burgos, in Makati. Alternative, stay in the Fort, logistics might be a little tougher depending on your building, but its cleaner and quieter and a bit more expensive. The building I rented was The Chancellor, five minutes walk to Greenbelt (or a bit less).

Daygame and internet. Meet at Greenbelt area for lunches/coffee/a pleasant walk, find a place on Airbnb perhaps for two weeks. You can find something quick walking distance (this is significant) so you can easily bounce back to your place to charge phone, check messages, etc without extensive interim time, even just walk towards your place and tell her that you want to go upstairs a moment, you're near your apartment - I'm sure you know the game. Also, find a place with a pool - its a good date and usually more interesting than just sitting and chatting with a lot of the girls - the kino benefits should be obvious as well. Maybe 300 per week will get u a good furnished condo with a cleaning lady 3x per week or so, doorman building. Don't day game next to Cafe Havana, mostly pros (though not inside the Starbucks, outside seating though, yes).

You'll certainly not be the only one doing this, but this buffet has plenty to go around.

This is basically foolproof and i imagine well within you're budget. If you get bored, you can bounce down the rd to the Ft. for 200 pesos or less in a taxi (44 pesos/dollar).

Probably not too much. You may even do better being in a local area like that.

Manila can be quite a shock to even seasoned travellers. Maybe it would be a good idea to check some areas out before deciding where to stay for the majority of your time there.

The first time I went there, I stayed in Pasay in a local area. The next time, and every other time I go back, I'll stay in Makati or the Fort.

More expensive, but also more comfortable. Things like hot showers for example.

I stayed in QC for a week. Depending on where you are, its fine, acceptable. Lot of college aged girls, and definitely be cheaper than Makati/Fort for the same level place. I think Danger mentioned, but there are several areas that have nightlife and restaurants in groups in QC.

This thread I wrote has a trip report on QC - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-33082.html. Near Eastwood or as Danger mentioned, Tomas Morabato are both good for restaurant access and some nightlife. I think Tomas Morabato area in general would be a good choice, though Eastwood is closer to Makati and EDSA.

I really don't get how $1000 can be considered a poor budget for the Philippines. If I am living comfortably (including going out) in Croatia for $650, then a country that's so much less developed has to be less expensive, not more. If I had a sustainable $1000 a month here I feel like I'd be living like a king, let alone there.

Why though? If you're not being misleading, I see no reason to have an alias. My Facebook is pretty tight on security setting though.

I would also echo the advice of G_global. Stay near Greenbelt. Every date you set up is likely to be there. Or if you want something a little less expensive, you could stay near SM Hypermarket/Cash and Carry. At a push you could also walk to Greenbelt.

Bro, I think thats really the point.. $1000 isn't even a good budget in a place like Johannesburg, South Africa.. More like $2000 a month would be okay and $3000 a month would be good..And the same goes for Manila.. But I'm nt sure ob the exact numbers
