I've had inklings about how schools are giving students the exact wrong message, but now I have confirmation. Below is an article about a group in Canada called the WiseGuyz and their method of teaching ninth-grade boys about sex. They send some hipsters to the classroom to deliver lessons about anatomy and diseases that are accompanied by sermons about gender identity, gay acceptance, and the new idea of masculinity.

The Talk

I'm fortunate enough that the propaganda about sex that I was exposed to in high school didn't rise to this level. At worst, I was told I needed to respect girls. The kids who've gone through a class by the WiseGuyz will need a deprogrammer to rid them of these awful ideas that will turn them into pussies.

If I ever teach a sex ed class, it will include the following nugget of wisdom from my own experience:

Boys, if you ever go limp when naked with a girl, roll her over onto her stomach and start slapping her ass.
The dominance/submission dynamic will get her wet and you'll get hard. Go forth and enjoy your male/female polarity! Class dismissed!

This is why many conservatives don't want Sex Ed. in the schools: it isn't that they don't want to educate their children about sex, they don't mindless douchebags like those in this piece "educating" their children.

It is the tired old argument that men are indoctrinated to be incredibly narcissistic and we need to start educating them on how to be fully human: have emotions, express empathy, etc. Not true, not true, not true.

The aggravating problem is that this dipspits use girls and women as the template for being a complete person. The article oozes with that same smarmy edification of women, that women are just so awesome! Not only are women adapting (note that conformance is seen as positive to women) but they have better friendships, relationships and understand the world better than men.

Bullshit, media knows that girls and women are worse at all of those things. The cacophony of sleazy, gossipy TV shows and movies aimed at women knows that women are back-stabbing one another, constantly whispering behind each other's backs and cheating on their boyfriends. They know they are unquestioning individuals who simply do what they are told. Women are conforming in the modern economy but men are not? Do they not realize that conformance might be a raw deal or -- gasp! -- exploitation!?

This is why men are "lagging behind." They saw their fathers greased down in divorce court, men constantly portrayed as mindless hunks of flesh not fit to engage with women without extensive education on consent and incessant vigilance so they don't give into their repressed rape instincts. They are sick of their identities as men treated as "performances" that need to be altered to fit a prefabricated notion of masculinity that is 100% drained of substantive masculinity, replaced with a low-energy, passive identity that leads to dumbass classes such as these. Shit like this is self-reinforcing, convincing the "educators" that more intervention is needed.

The truth is, men have adapted. Maybe we don't want to slave away 80 hours a week at a job that we hate. Maybe we don't to get married to some genderqueer, tatted-up freakshow who is 100% guaranteed to put on 100 pounds after the engagement. Maybe we don't want to deal with all the slick political correctness that permeates wider culture.

Deep down, though, articles like this betray a lingering sense that women think they may have been sold a raw deal and -- maybe, just maybe -- many men have figured that out. If that is true, that has to be infuriating. Women were told they see things men don't and have superior relationships and lives. What if that is a lie?

That can't be, so they console themselves with articles like these, wedged between articles about Kaley Cuoco's marriage and why one women didn't get at a job at a law firm because of -- you guessed it! sexism!

Women can have these articles and those sorts of lives. I'll have another whiskey sour and watch the game.

I never understood this until recently. And they can't come out and say it because then they'll be homophobic, misogynistic, racist, the list goes on and on.

These people's appetite for nightmarish propaganda of a certain kind is truly insatiable. A little less than a century ago they were "political instructors" walking around some village classroom in Russia talking to kids about "class struggle"; now they're "facilitators" (where do they find these hell words) in northeast Calgary canting about "gender". Same fucking difference. They are relentless, I'll give them that.

Plenty of kids will see through the deranged lies and flush them right out of their system, just as plenty were quietly flushing their prescription Ritalin down the toilet at the height of the ADHD insanity. But many will not and that is a problem.
