Anyone cured gum recession?

Have you tried the oil pulling yet? I saw your post the other day but didn't notice the part about oil pulling. My mom was just asking me if I heard of it, said it's the new popular thing, although I guess it's been done since ancient times. Just started doing a bit of googling and I guess it's supposed to help with receeding gums, overall oral health as well as better sleep and a host of other benefits. I have a jar of coconut oil sitting around I may give it a try for a few weeks.

I have tried oil pulling handful of times.

I was pulling for the teeth whitening benefits, but as with anything, in order for that to work, you have to do it more than a handful of times. I ran out of coconut oil and I never got around to replacing the jar. I'm not sure if it works or not.

However, I can say this, it was slightly unpleasant having to keep my mouth full of spit and oil for upwards of ten minutes.

I have a problem with this as well. I found that my gums were better, the more regulary I flossed. Unfortunately I got lazy and stopped flossing regulary. Need to start doing that at least 2 a day.

In addition to what's been mentioned, make sure you are flossing and brushing correctly. When flossing, especially if using a slick brand like Glide, make sure you are coming up under the gum line and applying pressure in the shape of a U, hugging the front and back of your tooth/gum as well. Imagine the space between your teeth and gums is a college campus infested with SJWs. They are in their safe space and repopulate at crazy rates because nothing is being done to remove them and their fucked up beliefs. You need to expel them so their ideas aren't spread further to other areas that will cause further inflammation and recession. To ensure that you are going deep enough, look in the mirror as you floss. Brush your teeth afterward (but make sure you wait at least 30 minutes after eating) to further disturb their demonstrations. Your toothbrush should be at a 45 degree angle to your gum line, making circular motions. If you use an electric toothbrush, you don't need to do the circular motions and make sure you are using to much pressure as you can wear away your gums. Just touch without pushing.

Drink lots of water throughout the day and any time after eating make sure to swish water vigorously. The more time you can swish throughout the day the better. Before going to bed, swish some warm salt water for as long as you can, gargle, then spit it out. This helps neutralize the acidity in your mouth as well. Bacteria and SJWs need an acidic environment to thrive so this will fuck them up. It will help lessen inflammation and contract tissue too.

If you drink coffee, soda (don't drink soda), or anything acidic like citrus drinks, especially if you use ACV, follow it up with water and swish around because you don't want that ruining your enamel either.

What about using baking soda in water as a mouth wash to neutralize acidity? I drink a lot of green tea with lemon and also sometimes ACV and i have heard that you shouldnt brush right after that as the acidity can be bad for your enamel. Is there any reason why warm salt water would be better to use than baking soda in water?

I slowed my gum recession by doing something a little counterintuitive.

I only brush and floss before bed. In the morning i will swirl some hydrogen peroxide around to get rid of the bed breathe.

Slowed it down but didnt cure it.

This.

I've had gum recession and bleeding for many years. Dentists always told me to brush and floss more, and this approach didn't help a single bit.

Now I only brush and use a waterpik before bed. After every meal I do 5 minutes of oil pulling with coconut oil.
This has stopped the gum bleeding and recession (but didn't reverse the recession).

If I get lazy with the protocol for a couple of days, the bleeding returns however

My ex-wife had severe receding gums, so much so that some teeth were loose and the dentist said she was at risk of losing them. She had laser surgery on her gums, as described in the links in this google search. She had successful results. Her gums reattached, and are much better.

Also, don't drink really hot tea or coffee, let it cool. Hot drinks can damage your gums too.

I reversed mine by bruising much softer, flossing before bed and using a tongue scraper daily.
