Evolution is not our friend.

But evolution is the big elephant in the room one has to deal with it or make a deal with it. A bad calculation can cause pain.

Anyone else get depressed when they see a stunning girl?

On New Year's 2013, I went to a party and met up with a young dude in a wheelchair. On top of that, he wasn't particularly handsome and was chubby from (obviously) not getting too much exercise.

This kid had more game and confidence than many non-handicapped, handsome, fit people I've met. He was flirting with girls, teasing them, escalating physically. Girls ate it up. I watched him ask a girl to come back to his apartment, which was on another floor. She went with him to hang out.

I'm confident they didn't fuck, as I know her personally. I'm pretty sure he knew his odds were not good. But he still tried - and I have no doubt that he has succeeded before. He had a great attitude.

What was your excuse again?

Actually I had this happen a week or so ago... Most of the girls I see around here are very mediocre and make me feel sort of meh but I was checking out from a sporting goods store and the cashier was this early 20's girl with a really stunning face. (Where you see it and say, "wow" to yourself). We had a little convo and she had such a bubbly, positive personality. I felt an attractive pull I haven't in a long time. Afterwards I had the thought that in all likelihood such a girl is probably well beyond my reach, and to be honest that thought did make me sad... But it was just a thought, and the moment passed.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

I've heard stories like this before. I think this is what is happening in these cases, they are in the harmless zone:

It similar to how flamboyant gays can act hyperconfident around women and get sexual with them and grab their boobs and asses and the girls think it's so flattering. Same dynamic.
