Hmmmm, I'm gonna go with stuff I've seen in person. Maybe not as awe-inspiring as the photos above but good stuff nonetheless:
Ojai, CA. Where I go to get away from it all. 2 hour drive from L.A.:
Insane sunflower fields in Tuscany:
Cortona, Italy:
La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona:
View from Empire State Building:
Musee d'Orsay:
Getty Museum, Los Angeles:
^^^I've taken shrooms there twice. Once with one of my friends, awesome experience (impressionism room on shrooms is incredible). And once with a girl who proceeded to puke everywhere in front of dozens of people and turned into a bad trip REAL fuckin' quick. Good times.

I was planning to stop by in Ojai on my roadtrip from SF down to LA in May, but I switched it out for Santa Barbara. Did I make a mistake?
It's Lake Louise, Alberta. Beautiful place but if you like that kind of setting I'd argue you'd be even better of with Lake Como:

Depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. SB is definitely a much larger town with more to do and see (and wine tasting). It can be a little yuppie-ish but it's definitely a beautiful place. There's some beautiful botanical gardens there and other romantic spots for you and your lady.
Ojai is more for nature-oriented stuff. If you're interesting in going to Ojai I can give you directions to a cool waterfall, a beautiful drive, and some natural sulphur hot springs where I had the acid trip of a lifetime (though I've heard they're temporarily closed off, I'd have to call up some friends and see) If the hot springs are indeed open, I would highly recommend going to Ojai. It's a pretty magical experience, especially if you have a joint or bottle of wine with you, and the smell of sulphur isn't so bad once you're there for 15 minutes.
I forgot one on my list; La Isla Espiritu Santo and Playa Tecolote, Baja Sur
Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

You think a couple of 'alpha' sarges, body language and little routines can compete with this?
Power and money make the girls drip honey...

From my personal pictures...
Åland is so underrated, unluckily i can't find a picture from online.
At my cottage in midsummer...
There is something transcendent for twilight to last forever, and have the sun never truly set. Honestly the one reason why you should go north is to experience the feeling of this, along with the northern lights flickering across the sky. I'm not too fond of anything money related, but give me a cottage in the north with access to beautiful women, a sauna and a boat right on the water and I can die happy.
