Female security guard runs away from her post when she sees gun

She was working the door of a club and saw a man with a gun. She ran away, without warning anyone else. A male bouncer then quickly disarmed the gunmen and was commended by the police for his courage...

Everyone jumping at :08 is because a shot was fired.

"OMG she must have been so scared. I'm glad she's safe!!" - Typical North American female commenting on this dumb ass security lady.

the takedown by the male bouncer was pretty spectacular he bounced that guy around like a pinball right into the street.

I didn't watch the video but I'm not surprised. I've done security in a few places & interacted with plenty of other security guards/officers. Females (with very few exceptions) just don't belong in the security or law enforcement industry. Normally they are only given the job in the first place because they know someone higher up the food chain and in the process get put on the most comfortable posts where they can sit down & practically not do anything (pussy pass). They complain, whine, & cause problems but at the first sign of real danger they are quick to retreat. Now I understand every individual situation is different but if a man had done this there's a 9/10 chance he would be fired but since she's a woman there's a 9/10 chance she'll keep her job, just because she's a woman.

Co-signed. Granted, female bouncers are important for searching girls/female washrooms and talking down situations that a big guy might escalate. A few were awesome and invaluable. But the vast majority were prima donnas/drama queens and a total fucking headache. And I couldn't even fire the worst one because then her brother would've quit and I needed him.

Almost did it anyway.

I think that male bouncer knows Krav Maga. The way he shoves the a hand against the gunman followed by an elbow strike to the face looks like he's got some training. Say what you will about the cowardly woman, he deserved the police recognition for his heroics.

Yeah - but on the other hand he reacted instinctively and logically.
1. It was his job
2. The punk was in close quarters and he was close enough to take him down.
3. Running away might have resulted in him and others getting shot anyway.

In wars from WWI to Vietnam men have been jumping on grenades to save their brothers-in-arms. Women are 99,999% unable to replicate that kind of self-sacrifice. They also cooperate better, aid each more effectively and accept higher status men in groups without conflict (if it is based on actual superior value like experience, abilities etc.).

Frankly I doubt that there was ever a real Amazon tribe consistent of female warriors. Looking at the scant factual evidence it seems to be just a made-up story just like the crap with the Lemmings who are supposed to throw themselves off cliffs at intervals. The truth is that it was a mind-control experiment by the Disney-studios(!) to prove that mankind can believe any shit. The cute little furry critters were thrown off the cliff by the film-crew. The female warriors make good myths but lousy real soldiers. (Nevermind engineers, builders etc.)

Could the guy have drawn his gun any more slowly? Maybe he saw the effect just flashing it had on bouncer #1 and stopped thinking.

To her credit, she did stare down the muzzle of a loaded weapon. She still should have alerted the others on her exit. Bouncer was a beast though.
