I wish. There was a glitch in the file. I've edited it and re-uploaded it a few times and the glitch isn't going away.

The other 3 podcasts are and all other future podcasts will be downloadable.

I like Mike's bigger picture perspective.. focussing and putting your energy into seeing the bigger picture and improving game on a systemic level will almost always outweigh the quick fixes when it comes to ROI.

Yes, we need clever tricks etc., but that stuff flows from the general perspective, and can actually be improvised once the larger frame has been internalized, practiced, and solidified.

A future podcast will be about the Alpha-Beta.

My approach to game is different because I was an Alpha-Beta.

I was kick ass in my life (good career, bankroll, in shape, charismatic) but my blue pill views on women made me a failure with them. Hence Alpha-Beta.

So when it came time to do "game," I didn't need a lot of parlor tricks to make my perceived value higher. My value was high.

I just needed to learn how to deal with women. So after a few months, my "game" was tight.

Thus you don't find many "tricks" on D&P. It's all solid stuff about becoming a better, more masculine, more dominant man.

Looking forward to that.

I think one of the tricks to life is to consolidate all your endeavors. For example- I play guitar for a living, which requires a lot of practice. I teach as well. However, I don't view the teaching as a side job that takes me away from my main focus.. I actually using the lesson as a time to practice.

This is why I think it's important for guys to not waste time doing things that don't have anything to do with their main goals in life.

Even if it just comes down to paying the bills.. we should all be trying to get jobs that are some how lined up with the main focus.

That's why it's important to figure out what you want in life. Once you get that, you can start threading everything else towards realizing that vision.

Everything becomes clear when you figure out what it is that you want.

If you aren't sure of what you want, you can still own your shit and sort of formally give yourself an experimentation phase to try out different things. An analogy would be in higher education where the freshman get to sample a lot of things before picking a major.

Life is too short to dabble forever. I have so many things I want to that I'd need three lifetimes to accomplish them all. I've had to let go of two of those three things and just focus on one of them because I realized that to really become elite at something, all of my efforts would have to be focussed on that one thing.

It's a little sad in a way, because I know that I'll never get do everything I want, but that's how the cookie crumbles, and to ignore the reality and spread myself thin would mean to not get anything accomplished.

I'm in middle of the personal finance podcast, liking it a lot so far. It sounds like between Mike and his guests, they live and practice what they preach and have the success to show for it. Mike's also very knowledgeable, so he can connect his experiences to intllectual concepts like Jung's treatment of extroversion.

Not to be a hater, but I noticed the volume varies a bit - I don't know anything about audio, but the volume, particularly of Mike, is a bit variable. Maybe he spoke away from the mic for a second.

Can't say enough good things about the podcast and the site DaP. You guys are on the shortlist of internet people who I respect immensely.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

Thanks bros!

A lot of guys don't know about it because I don't self-promote all that much on the forum.

To me it's a fine line. Sure, I add value and what not, but it's still Roosh's place. He's never said I over promote or anything like that, but still...I don't like coming in and linking to my stuff all of the time. It's just not my style.

But if you guys promote me, hey, that's great and much appreciated.

And if you have podcast ideas or questions, post them on the blog or here.

In the next week or two I will be sharing new self-promo rules that give a clear process when members want to self-promote their work. In the meantime, there are no specific guidelines.

I played with the sound this time during editing. Our latest guest is another big guy (he's huge actually) who is also relatively soft spoken.

When it drops, let me know if there are still problems.

I've read a lot of personal finance material and loved the way this podcast mixed the book-smarts with actual experience - especially with women and Vegas! The guest was great too.

Looking forward to listening to the others and hoping MikeCF puts up more personal finance material.

Like the longevity talk when in regards to weightlifting and fitness, lots of great points there. I like the level headed, jargon free conversation, like its a discussion for mature men and not some gimmick. The site is well designed and has a good layout, without typos.. looks great. Looking forward to more topics being discussed.

Can't wait to check out your podcasts, Mike.

I'm curious though, why aren't you and Christian McQueen uploading your stuff to iTunes?

Seems like you'd get a lot more listeners?
