Taking university classes in Korea

So we've all heard that Korea is a bitch if you go there with your dick in your hands and try to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, ie cold approach and play the numbers game. To be successful you apparently need some sort of 'in.' So with that said, I was wondering whether anyone has some data points on attending a university in Korea, the way that many people who go to China sign up for Chinese classes at large local universities.

I know that in China, at least, you can attend a non-degree program where you just take Chinese classes, while also having the option to attend business classes conducted in English where the vast majority of the students are locals. Would such an approach be effective for breaking through the wall keeping us away from Korean pussy? I'm speaking from the perspective of those who can pass as university age.

Good idea, I never tried that route. However, you reminded me of a few people I came across in my life who have taught in universities in Korea (ESL) and this fellow met his wife (Korean) while there. Now, the hours and vacation time is fantastic if you are a university prof at a decent uni. What I would do is take a course or two, eventually make buddies with the language department and when an opening comes available you can apply and if your quals are there you are a prof. (Basically BA from a western uni, esl experience voila) Now as a prof, you will get to meet all kinds of girls and have access to a whole lot more. They will be kissing your ass!!!

Korean language program at Seoul National University. Fees are pretty cheap, and you get access to the student organizations on campus, which are really open to getting americans (which I assume you're from).

SNU is a double-edged sword, however. Its known for having nerdy, not hot girls, while having guys who are smart, rich, or have powerful parents, or all 3. Therefore, your competition is fierce, while the pool you're competing for is mediocre.

But outside of campus it can be a good thing. Go chat up a girl and throw in that you're studying at seoul national university, instant DHV.
