Lund, Sweden - Worth visiting?

Lund, Sweden - Worth visiting?

I have a friend who has offered for me to stay with him in Lund, Sweden. He lives in the center. I was thinking of going there for 3 weeks or so. My main concern is will there be enough things to do during the week? Also, when is the best time to go? Does it empty in the summer? I am American (white, 6'2) - I think this may help me.

Thanks

Living in Uppsala, which is Lund's twin sister in many ways, I think it will be worth it if you:

1. Have alright game
2. Can get a temporary nation card (things to do during the week fixed, ask your friend)

In terms of time, things do kinda die down during the summer. Best time to go is either now (start of new semester) or sometime during April/May depending on exams, ask your friend as well.

I have a datasheet on Uppsala, I'm sure there are some other parallels which you might find interesting.

Do it! Many hot girls walking around Lund. Some of the best quality to be seen in Sweden. Possibly a bit better than Upsalla.

3 weeks is a long time. I would second getting a nation card, otherwise you can't get into any bars. Provided, you are college aged.

Consider a week in Copenhagen; I think a 2 hour train ride. Malmo & Gothenburg are worth a day trip.

Weeknights are dull as fuck even in places like Stockholm and Gothenberg. I could also argue that so are weekends.

But if you do manage to find some crowded bars during the week, you shouldn't have a problem getting laid. The only redeeming quality Sweden has is that one night stands are not taboo there.

The less fucks you give, the more fucks you get.

My year abroad in university was in Uppsala. At the time, in the late 90s, Stockholm University would have been better for quality and ease.
Uppsala has too many serious students. The Ivy League of Sweden.

How does one get this card? I'm in the U.S Military - I am not a college student at all (I was in the past). I will query my friend on this, surely he will know.

I will be definitely checking out what Scandinavia has to offer. Love the people, love european history. I hear Malmo is pretty bad in terms of immigrants/refugees (or is this over exaggerated)? I feel like Europeans don't know how good they have it compared to the states.

Unless someone knows otherwise, I don't think it's possible to get a card (access to Lund nightlife) if you're not in university.

Stockholm is the Swedish city with obvious racial diversity, US style. Malmo maybe a little. The others looked mostly homogeneous to me.
