Shpeaking of Jezebel, I was intrigued by the bitterness of the comments (many of them irrational, many of them nonsensical) so I found my way through other parts of the Gawker network and I found equally bitter comments about random shit throughout their network of shit.

Which brought me back to remembering the grumpy bitter unattractive girls in High School who took to hating the beautiful things in the world because they had been unfortunate enough to have been born "not pretty." Also, the male commenters also remind me of the kind of dweebs that would hang around these girls. In a sense, the Gawker network is like the continuation of everything shitty about high school (unnecessary drama, snide remarks, zit-laden angry ugly girls).

So, for those of you who might feel like your brain has experienced a clusterfuck after reading the comments on the Gawker network (which includes Jizzabel) here is an image to have in mind to remind you what kind of creature posts on those sites:



Except I think Ugly Betty probably has more personality and charm than any of the trolls that post on the Gawker Network.

Interesting. I found it out as well that pretty much every comment on those article basically screams "I have no life, so all I do is bitching about everything".

There are also some hilarious comments regarding poor Cambodian girls locked up and forced to be sex slaves for American tourists (which, of course, is bullshit). I recently had a discussion in a bar about it with a girl, who expressed her sincere concerns once I mentioned I just got back from Thailand. I didn't really understand that; if you're serious about making the world better, why don't you just look around? No need to go to Cambodia, right here in Bay Area there is a lot of poor women who would use an extra helping hand. So I asked her how much she volunteers in homeless/abuse shelters, and of course she did not. Hilarious.
