The other night im out drinking with a mix group. Were drinking and everything is going good, so my buddy tells me that one of the girls in the group is down. So I play it cool the whole night. By this time im getting drunker and she is feeding me shots at this point. Her other roommates come home drunk as well, we all hang out for a while. Then my buddy comes up to me as says that the chick who was originally down is not down anymore. So I say fuck it grab her number and walk home.

I get a text from her less than 5min later that said: hey its ___ . So long story short, i walk back over to her house, she's in bed and obviously not down, so she walks me down the stairs and we make out and I go home.

My buddy told me the day after that i came on a little to strong but that I didn't fuck it up completely. Now my question is, what should i do now.

Send her a dick pick for sure, 100 percent. Lol, kidding.

First of all, why was our buddy so involved in this back and forth? As soon as he told you she was down, you should have picked it up and ran with it.

I get the being cool/playing it cool thing...I do, but usually there's a better way. It's called escalating and getting that shit done. Trust me on this. Give a girl time to think and/or sober up a little and that may be all it takes for you to walk home with dick in hand. Waiting for the party to end to REALLY pull and your done. Taxi takes a long time to show up outside of the venue, done. Ride back to her/your place is long, done. A lot of game is about minimizing those transition times.

As soon as you received the info you did, that was your cue to escalate. To the couch, closet, bathroom. Not necessarily sex, (although why not take her in the bathroom and fuck her?) but some kind of escalation like touching, kissing, etc. Or did you say this was her house? If so, TAKE HER TO HER ROOM AND BANG HER DURING THE PARTY. Don't hesitate next time. When they're ready and giving you a wide open door you go for it right away. I've set down drinks at the bar that are 3/4 full, because the chick was giving me signs to leave right then.

As far as what to do now. Wait a few days, hit her up with a specific plan to hang out. She if she bites. If so, and you're not sure what to say maybe refer to the Text Game thread. Whatever you do don't bring up anything about the party, or ending or anything else like that. If that comes up later in conversation, then roll with it. Until then keep text specific, to the point and logistics oriented.
