Howdy folks,

I just landed in lovely Mexico City and discovered that everyone in my hostel is 50+ and don't have time to switch so I am super down to meet up if anyone is here this weekend.

Otherwise I'll be based in Puebla for the next 6 weeks (might hit Cancun in the middle to meet some buddies), but have weekends free to see other parts of Mexico. Guadalajara, PDC, Guanajuato, are all on my radar.

I told the waiter that it was my first day in Mexico and he brought me a shot of tequila on the house.

I fucking love this place.

Well, this is going to be a long weekend since Monday is a holiday due to Constitution Day. On Sunday people celebrate Candelaria Day and every bar is going to have happy hours at the Super Bowl.
Where is your hostel?
You can hit chicks going to a sports bar on Insurgentes Avenue, or at Polanco. All of them are going to have happy hours during Super Bowl. just get there and talk to any girl. You are a gringo, they are going to talk to you.

With God's help, I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

Yeah... Unfortunately I leave early Sunday to catch a bus to Puebla. The hostel is by Sevilla station, around a 15 minute walk to La Condesa.

Walk south and hit Condesa on saturday then. Pata Negra is a gamble, but has never failed me, its on Tamaulipas and Nuevo León. Check out Hencredible´s data sheet. Another option for nightgame would be Rhodesia like half a block away from the Fuente de Cibeles, its around 3 blocks south of Sevilla. A very hipster clique, but gameable. Dress cool, they tend to be assholish at the rope. Avoid Zona Rosa, even if someone tells you to go there.

If you are not leaving too early on sunday, walk north to Reforma and do some daygame, they close te avenue to motor traffic and there are lots of people riding their bikes, skating, and even some bands playing. Worth your while.

Also on saturday/sunday mornings, try Alvaro Obregon at Colonia Roma, or Parque México at Condesa.

I cant remember anything good around Sevilla station, but there are a ton of options justa few blocks away. I think theres a pastry shop right outside the station, if you are into food, theres also a restaurant that serves fish tacos on Cibeles, dont remember the name but it has a big ass neon beer sign right on top of it. Try the shrimp crusts, instead of a tortilla they melt some cheese right on the grill until its brittle like a nacho, and they use that as a chip to serve some buttery shrimp with onions and garlic.
