I'm 20 years old, i have been into game for about 2 years.
I speak english, spanish, and a some portuguese.
I went to film school and i hated it, i'm an artsy person but the arrogancy of this people was hillarious, like they think they are kubrick by just be paying a tuition.
I started to make money online about 1 year ago, not too much, but enough for traveling, chase girls, and save some money. I'm pretty sure i can make a lot more if i work harder.
Meeting incredible people from different places living in their own way i realized i want lifestyle like that, but i still want to study, for the experience, to get useful knowledge, networking, etc.
I'm pretty sure the film school was a bad decision, maybe in a big one in a city with a strong industry, with a lot of people to network, would be good, mine was a little and snoby one in a city without industry.
I want to study in Brazil or Europe because the education is high quality and cheap, my goal is still making money independently, so i don't really care for careers with high conventional prospects like enginering, law, etc.
I want to continue working online at the same time i study.
Im looking for a career that:
1. Will be useful in life or business.
I think social sciences/communication/arts can help me to understand people and really help me in a lot of aspects, while i don't think that would help me a lot in business.
Business administration/Economics/Marketing would help me a lot more in my projects but i would miss the oportunity to debate and learn about stuff i really like.
2. Will give me networking with high-end people.
About the same, i dont think social sciences would give me acces to the top class girls or guys, and maybe some great jobs in different places. A career like business maybe the option too, maybe marketing too.
3. Will satisfy me intellectually
I think studying arts, communication or social sciences will be a lot more interesting and eye-opening than business or marketing.
4. Have hot girls
This is not so necesary, i think that a place with high-end guys would be actually a lot better, they would be better contacts and will get me in their social sircles, also i trust more in guys, but having hot girls in college is always good.
Anyway i think probably communication or marketing are the best choices for that.
This is what i have thought about how long it will be and and what countries:
- 4 years of study in Brazil
- Bachelor 4 years of study in Brazil>2 years in Europe (a posgraduate degree, in anything not so demanding)
- Bachelor 3 years in Europe> Bachelor 3 years in Europe
- 2/3 years in an art institute in Latin America> Bachelor 3 years in Europe
If i study something like photography or video production again i wouldn't like to spend 4 or 5 years, that is why an institute or a posgraduate seem like an excelent option, it would be just 6 years to get two degrees/contacts in different places and in europe i probably can make a semester abroad so i would have lived in 3/4 countries, i will have a great international network and mastered 3 languages by the time i reach 26
.
Tha problem of studying in a institute of photography/film in Latin America is industry is not really good, and those institutes are pretty small, not a great place for networking, but at the same time the education may be pretty useful, i think photography and video production are great options to work indepently today, thanks to the internet, maybe a posgraduate in Europe will give me better connections
The path of Brazil and posgraduate can give me the experience of study and network in 4 countries. In Brazil it would be something like marketing or communication i think.
Do you think 6 years of study is too much?
Any career suggestions?
I have been thinking a lot about it this days i really apreciate any comment.
