El Mech,
Do you mean hotels and resorts? Or do you mean places to rent/buy in the Phils?
Luxury and high end real estate is one of the ideas I will be pursuing when I get there.

You got any plans of travelling to the Phils?

If it's PP then yes. I will buy a cheap pre construction condo maybe with bitcoins and rent it to you guys.

Ok where should I browse? For starters what part of the country? I do not like very congested cities or cities at all really. A balanced place.

A second tier city would be a good place to start. Not too many people, not too polluted, close to good beaches, dirt cheap and full of sweet and sexy girls. Davao in the south would be my suggestion to you. This is where I'm going to as well. There are a few guys in here who are currently living there or spent a few months there, so you may want to get in touch with them.

When are you planning on getting there?

Since I was in the Philippines for the first time I dream to go back there. Do it and go there, you really won't regret it. I just hope I manage to write my study project in Asia to visit this beautiful country and its open women again.

@Mech: I agree with VP that Davao may be your best bet. It's got a really good balance. It's a little more urbanized than Tampa but only has about half the population density. It actually seems a little more crowded though because most stores are congregated into all of the malls they have around town. Anything smaller than here is going to be a pain in the ass long term because of lack of infrastructure.

They're about to break ground on a new condo called Abreeza Place, it's located downtown and right across from one of the two nicer malls. These fat Filipino guys with effeminate voices beg me to take a flyer every time I walk to the food court. I think there are a few others going up soon, I'll keep my eye out if you're interested.

Manila for the first month. I'll do weekend trips out to nearby beaches (definitely want to do diving with whales.) Then maybe Davaos for a month. I really don't know. I have about two and a half months, so my plan is to book a 3 day Air B'n'B in Manila, find a one month studio near Greenbelt in those 3 days, join a co-working space (I work online) and then hit it hard with the girls. I'm Asian so I don't have the White God Factor going for me, but I'd be thrilled with pulling a couple girls a week (as opposed to a couple girls a day like some of these guys [Image: tongue.gif])

JJJ, did you look into diving out of Davao, I didn't see much in that direction, but I don't doubt it would be good. There's a lot in Visayas, to be sure, including whale shark feeding areas where they congregate now due to being fed (from a zoological standpoint, the fact they've stopped migration is probably a big negative, but you're basically assured of seeing them in this area (south part of Cebu, not near Cebu City).

Your plans sound like a pretty good start…Greenbelt is an excellent choice of accommodation. If you work online though, it might be wise to have a backup plan for access, such as a portable 3G device that uses the other network from your primary.

Almost half of that list, VP! Some of those I didn't even know about... But what do you expect when we have 7107 islands (High Tide) [Image: biggrin.gif]

If you stay on the main island for easy access to Manila (3 hour drive away), check out the Subic area near Olongapo in the province of Zambales. Subic used to be a US Naval Base and has since been converted into a local airport and tourist center. Officer's Beach is a decent beach.

Boracay is the popular and hence, a very commercialized island near Iloilo. It has turned out to be quite a tourist trap. I remember being there years ago. I remember this French guy who bought a small hotel and had a crêpe shop downstairs. This tiny island can get PACKED during summer, so if it's an investment property you are after, it might make sense to set up shop here.

If you're perfectly alright with going a bit deeper away from civilization, try the emerald beauty of Palawan. Shameless promotion of my exciting adventure there in this thread. Palawan is pristine, little-to-no crime, exotic and is simply paradise. I still don't know why I left...

Lastly, if anyone is seriously interested in Philippine real estate, a classmate of mine from the Univ. of the Phils is currently working for the Ayala Group as a real estate agent. They are a very respectable name over there. I can put you in touch with her contact info if you want to inquire. Disclaimer: I don't profit from any referrals to them/her. I can't offer any discounts. I am just trying to add value to this community.

JJJames, it's Davao. No "s" [Image: smile.gif] And just be aware that Davao may refer to the city or the province. As provinces go, it's pretty sizable. Let me know how your trip turns out, man. I'd be interested to hear how it compares to other places you've been and how the Asian non-WGF affects your experience. Still, I suspect you are in for a lot of fun!

Scott,
Yeah those beaches are simply stunning! I don't think I will want to leave once I get there. I wouldn't mind going to one of these beaches, bring with me two hot and sweet little things and just disappear and remain under the radar for a few months and being spoilt by these two sweet nymphos. Thanks Scott,

About those beaches the don't seem stressful like the ones in the DR with those Hatian hookers trying to wack you off while you're trying to have a beer. Also, the boats by the way they're parked it doesn't look like they are worried about them.

Wanted to ask the Manila experts something:
My international flight lands in MNL just before 7am on a tuesday. I know its a long a shot but are there any places open at around say 9am to pick up girls like after hours clubs? Or should i just forget about and go to the hotel take a nap and prepare for the afternoon to either pick up something at a nearby mall day gaming or from online pipelining?

Lol you waste no time!!!!

VP getting ready for Phils is like a motocross rider, hand on the throttle and just itching for the gate to drop.

Why not just pop into a massage parlor when you get there, bro? That'll cool you off until you've get some rest out of the way.

If you're planning to leave home indefinitely, which I know you are, you've got plenty of time to bang your brains out.

BB,
Yes you are right that I want to get there hitting the gou d running straight up and get a golden touch down and have a girl in my bed withing 2-3 hours. This being the Phils, it's not that out of reach. [Image: banana.gif]

Which beach are you going to? Very curious to hear about the beaches in Cambodia as you don't hear much about them here.

Let me know when you get to Davao BB. I have way too many girls there that I know what to do with. I will introduce you to so e very nice ones.

I just got my schedule planned as far as CDO. I might take bus ( 6 hours W to E to Davao on the other side of the island) for local color.

Over a dozen.. 2 dozen? lost count... girls at least 30 years younger than me have agreed to meet me, 3 have made specific plans, some are 37 years younger than me....

As one of my 50-something friend in Thailand said to me "Why didn't we come here 30 years ago?"
