Hi guys. Purchased the gold membership a few months ago. Worth every penny.

Currently reading Roosh's book "Free Speech Isn't Free". Every line, every paragraph is resonating with me. Particularly since I live in the Toronto area and can attest to the political climate of this region.

I've gotten to personally know a number of the RoK columnists; they are kindred spirits. Thanks, Roosh, again, for providing this community and giving us a chance to join on a lifetime basis.

I tried to renew my gold membership. Can't find a way. Can it even be renewed? i.e. buy it twice. Maybe I bought the lifetime. Can't remember.

If I'm all up to date and you can't buy it twice, I'll just buy one for the first person that asks for one in this thread. But you need to have responded to one of my posts and you need to provide a link (coz my brain is a bit mashed). I don't even care if you called me an asshole.

Failing that, is there some kind of donation thing here? I'd prefer not to do it over at RoK, but would be happy to do it here. Just feel like sending Roosh the price of a beer and a nice sandwich. Roosh mentioned about a week ago that PayPal had shut him down for no reason stated, and with no recourse available to him. I had purchased my gold membership some months ago by PayPal. Haven't seen anything in recent days as to Roosh setting up a different payment platform.

I'm sorry to hear that PayPal shut you down Roosh, but given the current climate I was surprised you lasted that long with them. They are notoriously trigger happy. Does this cancellation apply to the purchase of your books as well? (As in, they've banned your whole account?!)

Payment solutions such as Bitcoin will become ever more important for authors who go against the establishment.

You could always go the stealth PayPal route, Roosh.

As my business grows as well, I'll also be doing that more and more. As much as I've tried to get rid of PayPal in my personal life, it's just too universally used where your business can easily suffer if you do not accept it. The downside of doing this method is it takes a bit of maintenance.

Yes they banned my whole account. Since my book store was not made to accept a payment method other than Paypal, I'm busy making a new store.

Currently, no, but I'm looking at other options.

Paypal's action reminded me that I'm not as anti-fragile as I thought I was. A lot of content creators rely on just a few big companies.

Motherfuckers. Don't have to use much imagination regarding their "reasons" for banning you. But it's just another depressing reminder that, as you touched upon, men who talk about anything the left does not like are forced to find ways to circumvent the typical popular payment methods and make themselves as anti-fragile as economically possible. I hope that you can come out of this stronger even if in the short term there is a definite hit due to lack of PayPal.

The first thing I thought of when I heard PayPal ban was "fuck, he's going to have to change all his links". And even then, that's just one of the steps. While it would be ideal to take payments via Bitcoin directly, it's still a bit of a step for those new to BTC to pay for a book using it, though that's definitely one option. Then there are processors such as GoCoin and BitPay which is an improvement but still requires buyers to be able to acquire and pay in BTC.

Another option is a direct bank transfer payment processor. This is difficult however because for small transaction values such as for Roosh's books buyers will be from all over the world. The low cost direct bank transfer options would only apply to the countries served by the processor, though if a large enough % is from just a few countries you could cover them. For USA it would be ACH transfers (vs old wire), for UK it would be Faster Payments (vs old wire or domestic BACS). Within the EU there is SEPA which only costs a few cents per transaction. To get these to be as quick and easy as PayPal however is impossible, because a bank transfer to a new payee (Roosh) needs to be made rather than the few clicks for PayPal.

I'd say still look into Credit/Debit card processors, coupled with BTC. PayPal are notoriously trigger happy so being banned by them doesn't mean another processor wouldn't be perfectly fine with your business. Even some of the mainstream alternatives to PayPal, I don't think they would ban you.

I remember there being a wordpress plugin for Square's E commerce API but then again you're still at their mercy. However since it's an API I'm sure it is hidden that Square is processing payments.

There is a new Kings store coming right? I would just add hidden products there that can be linked to from here to purchase Gold.
