Interesting story: black beta dad critiqued for taking care of his children

Because involved black dads are apparently so rare today, he is seen as a fake. Because his children are biracial, he is accused by other blacks (men and women) of caring only because the children's mom is not black (she's white-Japanese).

Funny, you talk about people who made racist remarks yet call the guy a beta because he takes care of his kids.

Where is that facepalm pict?

I saw this on Facebook, and I really don't get it.

Internet troll comments are news now? [Image: huh.gif]

Observing that he is a beta type doesn't have to mean disparagement.

He's taking care of his kids, nothing wrong with that.

This social media eruption is now considered newsworthy and is reported as news: man posts pictures, pictures illicit a certain reaction on social networks, exchanges go viral. Newspaper reports it as news.

These eruptions seem to happen when certain sensitive buttons are pressed: anorexia, biracial families, nurturing fathers.

America is a country of gossip hungry ideologue busybodies and narcissists.

What is the value of a dude publicly posting photos of him taking care of his kids?
What is the value of people chiming in on what they think about this man's actions, portrayed in the photos?
What is the value of him defending himself?
What is the value of a newspaper letting the rest of the world know this all happened?

I don't see any. Social media at it's most ridiculous.

"Equality may perhaps be a right, but no power on earth can ever turn it into a fact."

"Want him to be more of a man? Try being more of a woman!"

"It is easier to be a lover than a husband, for the same reason that it is more difficult to be witty every day, than to say bright things from time to time."

The most interesting part of the trolling was that it was primarily black women, or black women-esque comments.

The standard racists came in with the, thug comments, and those kids aren't his.

But the black women went after him for bedding the she-devil, and saying he wouldn't do that if his wife was black.

hilarious.

News flash: people are racists and say dumb things.

Like WIA said, half the commenters are probably butthurt, unmarried black women. The guy is good looking and marriage minded, "why can't you marry a black woman?"LOL

We know women see more racist than men and black women are just the worst. But like typical women they never do any introspection to examine if THEY'RE part of the problem or what they can do for THEMSELVES. they try to make emotional arguments, e.g., race traitor. Any black man who falls for that is dumb as fuck.

Disclosure: I married/divorced a non-black woman and have halfbreed kids.

I 've cut all black women out of my life because of their non-sense.

They hate on black dudes dating non-black females pretty hard.
This also includes my own mother and other females in my family.

I'm not throwing all black women under a bus just yet, but damn if a bunch of them ain't angry as all get out.

Keep in mind that the black intra-racial marriage rate is still above 90%. I think the white one is like 95%.

So we have to add "taking responsibility for your children" to the list of "Things Betas Do"? What's next, doing the dishes? Remembering to turn off lights when you leave your house? BETA.

I don't get it. He's happy, he wanted those kids, or at least he likes raising them up. He didn't apologize or back down. The way I see it, he's a normal non-beta with kids.
If doing something you like is beta, then I'm one of the biggest android nerd betas on the forum.

Seriously, the whole story is a joke. Go to any random youtube video and browse through the comments to see how seriously you should take internet comments.

This isn't a news story. It's taking a storyline you know the mainstream will emotionally vibe with - "racism is alive and kicking strong" - and fishing for a story. I could take anything else you can think of and do the same thing if I was using internet comments to back me up, but if it wasn't an accepted storyline no one would bother with sharing the article.

Not saying racism is completely nonexistent but certainly we don't need to stoop to this level to find examples?

Trolls are everywhere and not to be taken seriously. We all know this already. Hell, we celebrate how ridiculous they are around here.

Considering that, this article itself is a troll-job, in my honest opinion.

When this started happening more and more a few years ago, it made it painfully clear to me what a waste of time most "news" is.

If only you knew how bad things really are.
