A woman reading this can think this, "HAH! I knew beauty standards were all a construct. Yeah, she has huge boobs, but she is 42. I thought 22 year-old's were hotties? So much for age mattering about attractiveness. I knew men find older women attractive!"



Two things to note: the article expressly identifies Lisa Ann as nice, kind and great company. Those traits are usually denigrated as male oppression: "Don't tell us to be nice/kind/blah blah anything related to being a good person. I'm a strong, independent bitch diva!" This isn't weird and is on purpose. Women *still* see Lisa Ann as a huge sexual threat, even though they gush over her age. They fantasize over their own potential sexual power at her age while needing to have a sexual threat humanized as just a sweet, affectionate person. Lisa Ann would say this in her piece, "Ugh, I'm such a GIRL, just another woman waiting for her dream man."

Second, note the therapeutic language about age not mattering to finding love from men. Ben Franklin talks about older broads in the 1700's? Yeah, no shit Sherlock. Have fun getting a 18 year-old pregnant in the 1780's. "But, but...they shamed the sluts back then!" Moral judgmentalism goes both ways, disphit. Men just got off for doing all that? Nope. Fathers/brothers/men in general getting angry over married men knocking up young, unmarried women is a reactionary, sexist construct erected to control the sexuality of females after the Sexual Revolution? Wait, what?

Further, citing the sexual statistics of Japan is simply laughable. That country -- sexually -- is fucked. Haven't women realized men rate women, at least in real life, on perceived receptivity to their sexual advances? They don't realize that -- in Japan -- men have an incredibly strong thirst for pussy? Combine tradition, female self-perception of social status with feminism and an aging society and you have a nightmare of highly selective women.

The problem is, Japanese men must realize that these women are acutely aware that younger versions of themselves are coming up every year. Their desperation must fuel Japanese men perceiving them as more sexually receptive than a younger Japanese female.



The articles last point about British men being more "evolved" than the world because they value...older women? The trick is that articles like this will impute intelligence, wisdom, maturity and all that to being older. The only thing is...that doesn't necessarily follow with calendar's flying off your walls. You could not do a damn thing for four years to better yourself. Sure, the aware and the willing become more wise and all that. Yet, women deny that is attractive to them from men (simply by aging), but want to claim is what should be attractive to men.

At it's core, it is maintaining social illusions over your own sexual attractiveness as a woman. It is completely disinterested in what men actually want - which is part and parcel of the problem. It repackages what men want in a way that allows an individual woman to project her own perceived strengths in a way that provide her space to delude herself that she is attractive to the men she wants. It is a defense against true connection, as a false wall is constructed between a woman and a potential suitor, as she can project/lie her way out of any failed connection with a man. She can bolster her own self-esteem while giving herself enough space to blame him if he rejects her. This is all one, massive game against true connection with a male.

Finally, it blows my mind that people like this -- who think older women are just as sexually attractive -- usually believe in evolution. So, the issue isn't that the clock starts running at puberty (first menstruation) but that the game only ends at the last menstruation? Women hit 30 with only 10% of their eggs left. Is *that* a patriarchal construction? Are Republicans stealing women's eggs when they sleep on their gender-neutral biodegradable beds because they hate women and fear they are gay? Jesus.

Evolution has no serious signifier at that age that fertility is dead and yet...puberty is a clear stage in a human's growth from a child to an adult. Most every culture has a celebration for that transition. America doesn't. It *should* go to show that America fundamentally doesn't understand human nature, much less human sexuality.

It is born out of a reflexive fear of human sexuality that any morally puritanical society has - which America was and is, writ large. Once the bonds were loosened, narcissism replaced the repression. My discussion on this started here.

TL;DR: British men are preferred older woman because they perceive them as more receptive to their advances than their far pickier and selective younger counterparts.
