Can you quarantine people who post crazy stuff on your FB wall?

Sometimes my dad posts crazy shit on my FB wall. ("Nam" stories and weird rants etc)

Is there anyway to set it so other people can't see it *without him knowing*?

Unfriending him isn't an option.

Turn off your wall.

Yeah, go into your timeline and tagging settings. You can make it so that only your dad can see the posts he leaves at your wall, but not everyone else.

You have to fidget around a bit, and perhaps put everyone else on a list.

By the way, I think Nam rants are cool as fuck. There was this old dude on my building that was in Korea. He would go on and on about how he once took a machine gun nest. Old man passed away last year and only his wife was at the funeral. Sad thing.

Yeah, there's a way to do it, you can set updates by others to your wall visible only to yourself, and by default any update someone posts will be visible only to themselves. I did that a long time ago and when my birthday rolled around and everyone wished me, they could only see their post on my wall. I finally caught on when someone said "It looks like I'm the only one wishing you, but happy birthday".

Man up and tell your dad to knock it off. I've gotten into plenty of fistfights my my old man. This Facebook shit is nothing.
