Travel to Russia

Hey everyone. About 5 months ago, I left my girlfriend in America and quit my job and moved to Russia, it was the absolute best choice I ever made in my life. And these decisions came partly from reading here and from support I got from you guys. Now I am doing all I can to ensure that I can stay here for a lot of time to come. I am working with a Dutchman now on developing a tourism company here in St. Petersburg. I would love if you guys could take a look at our website, if you have any suggestions, I would definitely welcome them. Additionally if anyone is looking for help on looking to move to Russia or getting to see outside of the cities or the provinces as they are referred to here. I have included our website and our Facebook page. If you can share them it would be greatly appreciated!

Glad to hear it's working out for you. As for the site, the design itself seems fine, but I'm not sure how many people you'll attract when you blatantly say that if a car breaks down, they'll get a free car repair course. People don't want to hear that shit and I certainly wouldn't. I assume potential clients/guests would expect for their tour guides to know the difference between brake/break, too. Otherwise, the idea on paper seems great, but it all depends on how it's executed. I'm pretty sure there aren't many tour companies of this sort saturating the market there. Any party buses out there? All in all, great idea, and I wish you the best of luck.

Sounds to me like someone has beaten you with the idea already, i.e., touring a former Communist country/city in a communist era car and being seduced by stories of the soviet days...check Marcin's page out, I think this guy's page and idea should be the blueprint for all similar tours:

Btw, I took his tour last year and it was remarkable. Best $75 I ever spent for a half day of touring Warsaw and seeing all the cool WWII/Communist era sights.
