Okay, so I will post here on each of my approaches and update with failure/successes. I request fellow forum members to give their inputs on how I could have handled the situation better.
Case 1: My neighbour in the building. Lives on the floor above me. Bumped into her once couple of months ago, quite cute. Initiated some small talk but she was in a hurry so couldn't take it anywhere.
Bumped into her again last week on Tuesday, initiated some light flirting, asked her to join me for a drink on Thursday, busted her balls because she dropped her house key in the crack between the lift and the floor landing, and when I retrieved it, she offered to buy me a drink. I said "just one? dont be so cheap!" Instant laughter.
Thursday morning around noon, she texts me saying that she has a Tai Chi class in the evening and that we can do drinks this week. I wait for 4 hours and then send her a text "ok, we'll do next week".
Sunday evening I text her asking if Tuesday (yesterday) is suitable for drinks. She texts me Tuesday morning saying that she has to meet a friend in the evening and is busy most of the week so we can meet up next week Tuesday or Thursday.
I wait till the evening (1 hour before we were supposed to meet up at 8 pm) and then send her a text "Only tuesday works for me, 8 pm in our lobby. enjoy the week"
What do you think guys? Any inputs?
Case 2: Was at the local supermarket around 6.30 pm last Thursday and spotted a hottie buying wine. Went to the wine section, opened her up by asking for advice on specific wine to drink with cheese fondue. Immediately transitioned to another topic.
Busted her balls on her dressing sense (she was dressed in a sort of 60's flower power style). Told her "not sure how old you are" with a sly smile. Laughter. Ran Style's "C vs U smile" routine. Well received. Some small talk including where she's from (she's half swiss and half english)
Here is where I think I messed up. She was in a hurry to complete her shopping (most stores in switzerland close by 6.30 pm) and I followed her around the store while she was walking around.
To get control back, I stopped her and directly went for number close. Got her number, called her back and she stored the number in her phone. Told her that we would meet on this Thursday at a wine atelier and that I would contact her sometime in the week.
Sent her a text on Sunday evening "Hey Jenny how are you doing?". No reply.
Called her yesterday evening, phone went to voice mail. Left a short voice mail "Hi this is XXXX, looks like you're spending too much time wearing that 60's flower power outfit. Give me a call when free". No reply.
We were supposed to meet tomorrow but I don't think this is gonna happen. I am thinking of texting her on Friday afternoon using Roissy's flake recovery text "whats up flaky mcflakester?"
