But yeah...if you put enough time and energy into something, you can probably get it to bend towards what you want.

Imagine a guy in the U.S. making ridiculous demands and getting it to work through online dating.... No chance in hell.

From the OP, the USA sounds like the worst place in the world if you're an American man!

Do people have success in online dating in North America?

I found when I used POF my quality went way down compared to what I could get by connecting with people in person. Perhaps I didn't have the best approach or profile but I even sent a bunch of beluga whales messages just to get some responses and the response rates were pretty dubious compared to the amount of effort.

Just meeting chicks in person seems to me a million times more effective and simple unless you are looking for something very specific that isn't easily identifiable when you meet someone in person.

I have had an account on OK Cupid for I think 6 years now. Never gotten anything out of it, not even a date.

All I see there are fatties, like 19 out of 20 girls are chubby at best. And even them are not biting. The few I have engaged are all like "I dont give my number out" "I dont have time to go out"...

Fuck that.

As crazy as it sounds I actually have similar requirements (for a realationship, not a bang) basically everything except I like black women too and the kid thing. This guy obviously has no game and I can see why it would be funny to think he would have his pick, but this should not be so outrageous to ask.
In fact, I don't think it's very difficult to find a girl like the one he describes if you are in certain parts of the world. The sad thing is I really think it's like "mission impossible" IN the states.

I've begun pipelining okcupid NYC in preparation for my return to the states. My god. The difference in responses from Euro girls, on the same website, is night & day.

For reference, I usually send a sincere compliment, then a playful statement, and on the 3rd or 4th exchange try to make plans to get together.

So far, US girls responses have included;
"that's your opener?"
"way to be superficial."
"Thanks, but you don't even know me"
"I don't give out my number to guys I don't know"
"guys are creepy on here"
"I'm a feminist. I don't think we would get along"
"Hi! Thanks for the compliment. Based on your profile, i dont think we'd work. But good luck!"
"I dont know. You might be a creeper"
"Aren't I too young for you?"
"you sound great, but you are too old for me"
"Is that your real height?"
"Why does your profile say xyz?'
"Sorry I'm busy this week."
"Maybe."

Some girls responded positively, and I was able to setup dates with. But the majority had a lot of negativity.

In Europe, my responses included;

") thanks! )))"
"your profile is nice too )"
"Well yes, I have many cute dresses [Image: smile.gif]"
"I definitely prefer to be the girl [Image: smile.gif]"
"Of course I'm spontaneous"
"Call me sometime"
"So, do you want to meet?"

Almost no negative reactions.

I'm saying the exact same things, and getting completely different results.

Something is very, very wrong here.

It depends on where in Europe......its extremely diverse compared to America, a Spanish girl doesn't react the same as a Russian

In the west I get some bitchy responses, but I also get some great ones.

In the former soviet union they are usually polite and rarely give you a negative response, but it's hard to engage them, it's like talking to a brick wall.

For example in Russia/Ukraine girls would almost never say:

"So, do you want to meet?"
"Call me sometime"

In addition, they will almost never chase you.

I actually much prefer dating in the West, Western girls are FUN, They want to drink alcohol, they want to laugh, and they want to have sex on the first or second date.

I've got a question, tho. I live in Europe now, but I refuse to do any kind of online dating at all. What I want to know is more about the response.
From the response, it's pretty clear the OP messaged Russians, they are the only ones who write single parens as smileys. Now, would I get the same response if I were Russian? What do you think?
Now the real question, outside Queens and Miami, we Colombians are among the most scarce latinos in the US, would (decent looking) American girls react to me differently? When I met them in person they seemed very normal to me, pretty friendly and welcoming.

That being said there is no way I go live in the 'states now, but I am curious.

Ah,

Thank you for confirming this for me.

I've been talking to alot of different Russian chicks, and I wasn't sure if this was just their way of making smileys but just not adding the colon at the beginning, or if every Russian chick had a problem with their keyboard creating closed parens at random....

Now I know...

Speaking of that guy, he lost his job when his employer found out about it and he ended up begging for donations to pay his bills.
