"Sticks or powder?"

As a wise man once said, ditch the sawdust. Just kidding - if you can grind it at home, get the sticks, but it can be hard to grind it with home appliances fine enough - I think it depends on which species of cinnamon you have. Get the cinnamon in plastic bags, not the bottles - it's fresher and cheaper.

A couple other health foods:

Kimchi - promotes healthy gut flora - same for fermented vegetables. Similar to yogurt in that respect.

Bone Broth

Seaweed - for iodine.

Never been a fan of kimchi, but yes probiotic cultures are supposed to be very good for you, I was taking a "probiotic supplement" for a while, but as far as healthy foods that contain it, you can't go wrong with Greek yoghurt.

I'm sure most of you guys are already hip to this, because Greek yoghurt has been a big trendy healthy food fad, but it's really good stuff, low fat, very high protein, and packed with probiotics. Really, I'm not that into the taste of the Greek stuff, so I go for locally produced goat and sheep's milk yoghurt that are mixed with fruit (strawberry, blackberry, etc.), tastes amazing.

Also, I don't think kombucha has been mentioned on here, it's really big with groovy, health concious hippy types, and also is full of beneficial bacteria. I just recently started drinking some because the brand Reed's which makes badass ginger brews just started making kombucha with spring water and good flavors like hibiscus and ginger.

Being a health nut and eating healthy foods like goji berries, kombucha, wild caught Alaskan salmon, etc. isn't cheap, but I believe it's a worthy investment for one's long term health and vitality.

Sunflower seeds are estrogenic.

I have fish oil, vitamin d3, magnesium, zinc, spirulina tablets, creatine (probably the only muscle gainer that's got actual science supporting it's effectiveness - even so I don't use it very often).

All my whey protein is mixed with cocoa powder and cinnamon for mass antioxidants.

The juicer does everything else.

I'm so exhausted from my bizarre prison gig I can't cook. Only a couple more months and my emergency Philippines fvckfest fund will be filled.

MetRx protein powered and almond milk shakes, green stuff powder ( all available at Trader Joes, salmon oil, zinc, vit D,
multi, st johns wort for mood, lots of nuts ( I can buy them in convenience stores on way to work) not enough liquids (no soda machines or leaving work during shift)

A big thing I 've got to do is drink more water. Second most important nutrient after air.

What are your nutrition/health essentials?

Krill Oil (like fish oil, but better)
Vitamin D
Theatine (as written about on ROK)
Green Vibrance (Standard Greens supplement)
Biotrust Protien Powder (Whey sourced from grassfed cows - organic, clean)
Occasionally, Bulletproof Coffee (learn more here)

Recently, I added Shroom Tech Immune while sick - which boost the immune system. It's been advertised on Joe Rogan's podcast with Alpha Brain. It's got zinc, rishi mushroom, eccinachia and a bunch of good stuf.

On some days I add PAGG - as seen in the 4-hour body.

The kelp that I use has been dried and granulated--crumbled into small flakes about the size of coarse sea salt. It's sold in a shaker. I generally sprinkle it over salads and other dishes. You can get it in larger leaves also.
We get the dulse as whole "leaves." They come in a bag. You can also get this in the shaker.
The company is called Maine Coast Sea Vegetables.

I usually get them from some places like Whole Foods, Jimbo's, or Ocean Beach People's Co-Op.

This must be San Diego.

There used to be a fish taco stand in the parking lot of a grocery store a few blocks from the beach. I think it was one block south of Santa Monica ave.

Is is still there???

COCONUT CREAM: http://originallivingcoconut.com/Products.aspx
Jordan Rubin wrote a book called The Raw Truth, in which he goes the the process of making your own coconut cream. Never tried it; although, I plan to sooner or later.

Yeah, Ocean Beach People's Co-Op is in San Diego.
Don't know about any fish taco stands. I'm a transplant from St. Louis, MO, so I don't know all the local landmarks... yet.

What are your nutrition/health essentials?

I have been broke and thus unable to restock my dwindling vitamin/nutrition supply.

However this has a useful plus side as I am receding back to "baseline" in terms of my body's chemistry. This second go around I am going to monitor my intake and its effects of EACH supplement accordingly.

This last time started out great with all the stuff I was taking and my boners were titanium hard, however I started taking so much different shit in such insane quantities that the effects were becoming negligible, if existent at all.

Always:
St. John's Wort
Zinc
Whey protein
Creatine
Pre Workout

Most of the time:
ACV
Coconut Oil
Vitamin D
Vitamin B12
Magnesium
L-Theanine
Bacopa
Fish Oil
Kava extract

I would like to fine tune it a lot better but due to short funds at the moment I stick to bare essentials.

Lots of herbal brewed drinks.

Hibiscus, coca leaf, tea, mint, all brewed herbal drinks basically are good for you.

Someone recommend a brand of magnesium oil? I can only find magnesium sprays or pills wherever I go.

I also bought some Himalayan pink crystal salt, I need to get a plastic topped container then I can make brine out of it. For consuming the mineral properties of it and also using it as a mouthwash.

I've also temporarily switched over from Green tea to Jasmine tea.
