He posted an update video. Things are still suspicious, however, and the reporting is misleading.
Is it just the user base that protects Youtube from competitors? Surely in today's world with the ease of use for smart phone devices, etc. - it can't be that difficult for users to migrate to other platforms. It's as simple as downloading another app, making an account and posting shit.
Even the most basic users of Youtube, Fb, Twitter.. are aware of the rampant thought policing and anti fun attitude that is destroying their user experience.

Information I was unaware of since I last heard his name. Former Clinton Foundation CEO Eric Braverman is now working with the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Foundation of Google. fame.
He was previously listed as missing. And was mentioned in the wikileaks emails.
But...it's purely a coincidence that he's involved with these different groups.

We're going to need our own platforms sooner or later.
Can't expect much else when the biggest search engine run by leftoids doesn't like what they see. They'll do what they can to modify behavior. Here's a recent article detailing just what kind of insight they have on the public at large. While bemoaning the searches for stereotypes about certain groups, all it did was confirm what's likely already out there, based on the experience of those conducting the searches.
In other words, why would a million people suddenly decide to Google "Why are black people rude?" unless in their personal experience they had reason to feel that way?
Also it seems parents have instincts which just won't die in spite of SJW pressures. They are more concerned with their daughter being fat and unattractive than they are about their sons:
Of course, the global-homosexual elitist author putting the spin on all of this sees it as a "bias against girls" instead of what it's always been: a natural and understandable wish to see their daughters turn out attractive and desirable. Female attractiveness matters most in terms of mate selection, and even modern liberal parents know this deep down inside. They aren't as worried for the boys because it flat out doesn't make as much difference to their long term success in life. Hence, parents worry about what will:
Even after all the cultural rot instilled by the left over decades, it seems the manipulation game can only get Google/Youtube so far.
But don't get cozy - they've got plans to use this anonymous data to target areas of the country they see ripe for cultural infiltration:
I would not limit that technique to targeting closeted gays, of course - watch this space for other types of socio-political targeting.
Absent a solar flare that takes out the grid and the internet long term, expect their influence to be more widespread and subversive than it already is.

Also it seems parents have instincts which just won't die in spite of SJW pressures. They are more concerned with their daughter being fat and unattractive than they are about their sons:
Quote:Quote:
What then are parents’ overriding concerns regarding their daughters? Primarily, anything related to appearance. Consider questions about a child’s weight. Parents Google “Is my daughter overweight?” roughly twice as frequently as they Google “Is my son overweight?” Parents are about twice as likely to ask how to get their daughters to lose weight as they are to ask how to get their sons to do the same. Just as with giftedness, this gender bias is not grounded in reality. About 28% of girls are overweight, while 35% of boys are. Even though scales measure more overweight boys than girls, parents see – or worry about – overweight girls much more frequently than overweight boys. Parents are also one-and-a-half times more likely to ask whether their daughter is beautiful than whether their son is handsome.
Liberal readers may imagine that these biases are more common in conservative parts of the country, but I didn’t find any evidence of that. In fact, I did not find a significant relationship between any of these biases and the political or cultural makeup of a state. It would seem this bias against girls is more widespread and deeply ingrained than we’d care to believe.

There are also more searches for “is my son behind” or “stupid” than comparable searches for daughters. But searches with negative words like “behind” and “stupid” are less specifically skewed toward sons than searches with positive words, such as “gifted” or “genius”.

The second benefit of digital truth serum is that it alerts us to people who are suffering. The Human Rights Campaign has asked me to work with them in helping educate men in certain states about the possibility of coming out of the closet. They are looking to use the anonymous and aggregate Google search data to help them decide where best to target their resources.
I would not limit that technique to targeting closeted gays, of course - watch this space for other types of socio-political targeting.
Quote:Quote:Yeah, just imagine if they used this kind of data to identify potential threats to Republican congressmen, Trump supporters and anyone wearing a MAGA hat. Imagine the violence that could have been prevented. Even the Google-soy author who wrote that had to realize what was really out there, based on his other observations:
There are other potential ways to use search data to learn what causes, or reduces, hate....
...Learning of our subconscious prejudices can also be useful...
...We can use the data to fight the darkness. Collecting rich data on the world’s problems is the first step toward fixing them.
Quote:Quote:
Does it change your view of human nature? Are we darker and stranger creatures than you realised?
Yeah. I think I had a dark view of human nature to begin with, and I think now it’s gotten even darker. I think the degree to which people are self-absorbed is pretty shocking.
When Trump became president, all my friends said how anxious they were, they couldn’t sleep because they’re so concerned about immigrants and the Muslim ban. But from the data you can see that in liberal parts of the country there wasn’t a rise in anxiety when Trump was elected. When people were waking up at 3am in a cold sweat, their searches were about their job, their health, their relationship – they’re not concerned about the Muslim ban or global warming.
Was the Google search data telling you that Trump was going to win?
I did see that Trump was going to win. You saw clearly that African American turnout was going to be way down, because in cities with 95% black people there was a collapse in searches for voting information. That was a big reason Hillary Clinton did so much worse than the polls suggested.
Absent a solar flare that takes out the grid and the internet long term, expect their influence to be more widespread and subversive than it already is.
Now there seems to be a sweep of Demonetisations and Forced Unsubscriptions on Fitness, Bodybuilding and Health Channels.

That's probably not far from the truth. Here's the web site for the author of the article I linked to above.
Soy is most definitely present in large amounts of his daily caloric intake.
His background and connections to the Obama white house shouldn't surprise you either.
He recently published a book about his Google data research. While the raw data is interesting, his conclusions are unsupported and illogical and nakedly political. Nevertheless, people like this are pulling the strings behind what the masses are told to think - we probably just witnessed another string being pulled by YouTube/Google with their subtle muting of that bodybuilder's channel.

With all this high-tech censorship going on, a question popped into my head this evening:
Where is Peter Thiel?
He was the founder of Paypal and an early investor in Google. He's certainly a "maverick," or he at least used to be. If he said something about all this censorship, people would listen. So, where is Peter Thiel? Why has been silent about this?

He is on the board of Facebook, one of the big-time censoring outfits. He's taken plenty of heat over supporting Trump:
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2...t-facebook
Quote:Quote:
It’s not often that Mark Zuckerberg invokes the values of Facebook to rebuke the people he works with, but this year, he reached a tipping point with the “deeply upsetting” views of one of the members of his board of directors, which he disavowed as “not represent[ing] the way Facebook or I think at all”.
“Facebook stands for helping to connect people and giving them voice to shape their own future,” he wrote. “But to shape the future we need to understand the past.”
One might expect that those words were aimed at Peter Thiel, the Facebook board member who has bucked Silicon Valley political orthodoxy by backing Donald Trump’s xenophobic, Islamophobic, sexist, anti-science, and increasingly dictatorial campaign for president. After all, Trump’s ideology represents a direct threat to Facebook’s stated mission to “make the world more open and connected”.
If the SJW's that run the day-to-day operations at Facebook ever force the board to censure or remove Thiel, they may have a very painful lesson in overreach. Thiel is a savvy investor, and realizes that Facebook is here to stay. He can't easily be promoting some Facebook alternative while at the same time being a board member. The best thing we could hope of is more SJW overreach that forces him out of Facebook and turning him into an alt-tech sugar daddy for new platforms.

Ultimately, I hope that Thiel may be quietly launching some new projects to take on Google. Google is clearly an evil company.

Peter is perhaps one of the most brilliant minds on the planet but he isn't free from establishment ties and restrictions. At best, I see him investing in a disruptive company that will eventually end and replace google.

Facebook exec admits they are not really a social network, but a data company just asking for regulation.
For better or worse, the days of them being regulation free are probably numbered.

True, but think about female psychology and the author. If you aren't attractive (or more probably, can't be assed to do what you need to in order to be) then the idea that being attractive is a positive trait in girls is going to make you feel bad about yourself.....hence the hamster translates that into the idea being "an attack on girls" in order to protect the author's ego.

Look at the overall smaller profile of the head and tiny chin. I'm guessing Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
I just signed up for https://steemit.com , which is the login system for registering with https://dtube.video. The process is a bit complicated because you have to confirm multiple emails and wait for a moderator to approve you. 24 hours later, I'm in business. Dtube looks interesting, still in infancy, but it seems like there are a lot of dissident voices on the platform. Glad to see they are making a push to get people to monetarily support video creators in a time when the ADL, SPLC and YouTube/Google are trying to monetize any content that doesn't fit The Narrative.

Cool. I hope whoever is running it has a better understanding of how the internet works than that asshat Torba. He sounded like a complete conspiracy whack job when he suggested it was impossible to open up a registry or that ICANN was controlled by the UN after Obama gave it away, blah blah blah... A few minutes research could have set him straight and Cernovich wouldn't have wasted his time repeating falsehoods.
I very much support the idea of alternative platforms, but if they don't come from people who know how these kind of things work, I'm skeptical whether such efforts will ever get off the ground.
