Fall 2013 Television: A Guide

It's been really difficult watching all this trash, but I've done it so that you guys don't have to!

This year's fall television offerings have been diverse and varied. However, after much watching a careful analysis, I've produced the following summary, which breaks down the major difference between some of this seasons hot shows.

Hope you all find this helpful! Once again, there's a lot of variety to choose from in the TV guide, so I hope this makes it easy for everyone to find a show that meets their own preferences.

Enjoy!

The Main Character
Dr. Ellen is a woman with an important job. For some irrelevant reason, she was chosen for an even more important task, just because of who she is!

Significant Other

I like Tomorrow People but it could probably be broken down like this. Dracula is pretty good except for the American accent Dracula has.

If you're a comics fan, or enjoyed the most recent Batman movies, don't sleep on "Arrow"

Been getting better every week:

Arrow, Walking Dead, and Eastbound & Down are pretty much the only TV shows I watch these days.

Average TV show with horrible writing, shitty dialogue and contrived situations that make the characters act stupid to advance story...however, it's shot well, has excellent pacing, zombies and...

The end of a Mad Men episode: *Looks at the suit in the closet* I gotta go chop some girls...

The end of a Breaking Bad episode: Holy shit that was insane! I wonder what's going to happen next week? Maybe it was ________________?

The end of a Walking Dead episode: ...Okay, well I'm going to sleep.

I saw an episode of Scandal about a month ago at a girl's place...some of the worst overacting I've ever seen.

Only TV I watch: Mad Men (awesome), Breaking Bad (awesome), Game of Thrones (awesome), The Walking Dead (usually just once), sporting events, most things on the History Channel or National Geographic and re-runs of classic Simpsons and South Park (I would watch the shit out of old Sopranos but its hard to find channels with it on).

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? More like Manginas: by Joss Whedon (I've never seen it...but it's honorary Feminist faggot Joss Whedon, so I doubt I'm stretching).

The Walking Dead works well when it isn't just in one setting (Farm, Prison)
It has the worst logic though, frustrating to watch and annoying female characters (slightly changing this season)

LOL, ok guys.

The Walking Dead

The Main Character
Rick is a man with an important job. For some reason, he manages to survive a the initial stage of a zombie apocalypse. He continues to survive because of the hard work he put into training as a law enforcement officer prior to the zombie outbreak. He isn't chosen for the important task of being the leader of a group of survivors, but steps up because he knows what needs to be done and makes it happen by pure guts and trial and error.

When he realizes that the time for dictatorship has come to a conclusion, he has the balls to establish a semi-democratic counsel in his place, recognizing his own imperfections and continues to work hard to lead by example, attempting to establish a less violent lifestyle as a farmer.

Significant Other
Rick has a bitch wife that sleeps around behind his back (when she thinks he is dead) and attempts to outsmart him by keeping this a secret when he comes back. He doesn't easily accept her cuckolding and remains super alpha, if not imperfect.

She dies. Good riddance.

Sidekick
Male, ugly, good with guns and clever. But he really needs Rick to lead the group.. Without him, all he can do is twirl around and shoot stuff. Which he looks good while doing.

Wise old dude
Just talks in slow, calculated phrases. Is always a step ahead of everyone else. Repeatedly helps Rick discover the right path. Something of a father figure.
