Fake femme fatale dupes IT guys at US gov agency

None of those thirty dudes even recognises the chick as the waitress from their frequent restaurant!

One observation from the experiment:

Quote:Quote:

Attractive women can open locked doors in the male-dominated IT industry.

A parallel test with a fake male social media profile resulted in no useful connections. A majority of those who offered to help Emily Williams were men. The gender disparity in social engineering has shown up in other situations, including, for example, the 2012 Capture the Flag social engineering contest at Defcon. Anecdotal evidence from the Defcon contest suggested that females might have more compunction than males about duping others, but they may be better at sniffing out a con.

It's hilarious. Do you remember how one of the common feminist criticisms of men is that they think with their "lower head", meaning that the average man is too aggressive, horny and only wants sex, causing him to behave recklessly?

In reality, it is exactly aggressive, horny, sex-seeking men that successfully resist "femme fatales". It is shy, sex-starved, geeky betas who fall for them over and over.

Can you imagine one Silvio Berlusconi handing over state secrets to a random woman with a nice picture on Facebook? How about Mick Jagger or that guy you know who has over a hundred notches?

Of course not!

I thought being gov security agents, they'd have been through some kind of James Bond / Game training where they are faced with this kind of situation at the minimal, or even way more serious - like a real femme fatale in person seducing them. Maybe they had to replace those with some other sensitivity and anti sexual harassment trainings lol

So those action movies with the chick spy seducing the IT security nerd to get access to the grand system are actually more realistic than I believed them to be! Man, in that case, the Russians will soon pwn the US in cyberwar, they have battalions of hotties for the job!

Remember that Russian "spy ring" that was busted a couple of years ago? A lot of men were totally drooling over that chick.

From Wikipedia:

Quote:Quote:

Magazines and blogs detailed her fashion style and dress sense, while tabloids displayed her action figure dolls. Chapman was described by local media in New York as a regular of exclusive bars and restaurants.U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden, when jokingly asked by Jay Leno on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, "Do we have any spies that hot?", replied in a mock serious tone, "Let me be clear. It was not my idea to send her back".

In October 2010, Chapman posed on the cover of Russian version of Maxim magazine in Agent Provocateur lingerie. The magazine also included Chapman in its list of Russia's 100 sexiest women.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

SVR agent Anna Chapman, a Russian plain jane, is "hot" in America:

I always get suspicious of outside people contacting me for "access" to a system. It's my BS alarm and i'm curious how effective it is.
